CP Webcam & Darkness

I have been checking the CP webcam for the past few days, and have always gotten a daytime view.
This evening, however, when I checked it, it showed the park at 9:24PM, June 24.

At least I THINK it was CP---it actually looked more like a badly-done Impressionist painting.
I'm wondering if the camera has poor low-light resolution, or if Ohio, like the Chicago area, was getting drowning rainstorms, and that may have had an effect on video quality.

I'm also wondering if CP has any plans to put more cameras for WWW viewing, or if camera placement will be changed throughout the summer.
The webcam gives my family a great sense of being back at CP, as we imagine ourselves "in the picture". (While we beat the peak-season crowds, the problem with visiting CP in May is we have the entire summer---as well as the winter---to think about the next trip. 340 days to go.)

BTW, thanks to Jeff and all the many contributers to this site. For someone who is a member of the "CP-once-a-year" crowd, this helps keep the memories alive.

I'm not sure what the reason for this paricular web cam view is. They could save money on a web cam and just take a photo, since the picture never changes. As for the web cam technology itself (resolution and quality), I can see what you're talking about.
