Crane at TTD?

When the crane was farther down towards the hydraulic building, I figured that was mechanical. But right now, 9:10 am, it's right up next to the staging area. I've never seen how they actually get the trains on the track, and it appears as if one minute there was a train on the transfer track, and the next minute it was on the main track. Is this the usual morning ritual, and they're just late today or something? Or are they putting them away? :0 *** Edited 7/3/2004 1:12:10 PM UTC by Erikjc***
No they don't usually need a crane to put the trains on the main track
Hmmm, that's weird because on the cam I could clearly see one on the transfer, and the next refresh it was not there...I wonder what they're doing.
Now it looks like they're polishing the trains. Is this good news? A sign it will be opening soon? Sorry if I'm sounding paranoid, but I'm going to CP next Saturday and I've never ridden TTD before.

I'm sure whatever's wrong with it will be fixed by next saturday. They had the crane out yesturday and by mid-evening TTD was running fine. I'm going friday so I too hope it will be working fine by then. *** Edited 7/3/2004 2:20:57 PM UTC by TTD 120mph***

They just are transfering trains from the transfer to the main track, not using the crane. It is surprising how fast they can do it.

Do we really need a new thread each time the web cam image changes? No more play-by-play.
