Did a little reasearch

I found this to be pretty cool. I know that there has been some "dispute" about a possible lift and Launch (I tried to look though previous posts and I couldnt find the particulars) I wouldnt count that out of the picture. Intiman has made one like this (lift and LIM) and I have to say its awsome. Eventhough its known as more of a intermediate coaster, its still a blast to ride. I thought this could be an idea. check it out!

You have to be a member of that place to view those I believe.

My bad. Actually, its not a bad forum. they have more pov's than any other forum that I have seen, I mean, complete pov's! Some might want to check it out anyways. I'll try to find a way to post the link another way tomorrow.

I think this one (http://rcdb.com/ig1646.htm) would be better for CP as water themed ride... what do you think? Look at structures, they are similar to what CP has in breaker express yard.

I know. I hope so too... If CP gets this kind of ride, they can come up a GREAT design to fit for frontier area...

The ending of that video is hilarious.

Hmmmm... I don't think that the trains will be "on top" of the track.

The reason I say this is becuase if you are watching the coaster from the bridge, all you will see is the bottom of the train (how boring would that be). For this matter, I believe it will be some sort of hanging type ride. Maybe even have water guns on the bridge to squirt the riders...hence there's a storm a brewing!

I dunno...just doing some thinking! ::smile::

The water squirting idea would all depend on how fast this ride is. Anything over 60 or 70 mph, which is almost a sure thing, and there would never be this. raindrops alone feel like beign hit by rocks, imagine what a jet of water would feel like at 60+ mph. So dont bet on the water guns.

How is anything (beyond the obvious) a "sure thing"?

Every Intamin structure looks pretty much the same. You can't tell what type of ride something is going to be based on track type, shape, length, or curvy-ness, and you sure as hell can't say "this will be a water coaster because the supports are the same at that one." Because the supports are similar is fashion to some of those on Millennium Force, Dragster, and other Intamin rides. It's just not possible.

Cali Screamin' looks like it does to mimic a wood coaster, since wood really wasn't the best option for a supporting structure in that case.

Mr Scotts ears must be just burning, I mean another person talking about water on this ride.
