Do they open at 9am this year?

The point used to open the gates an hour before their published operating hours. Last year they seemed to stop this. Are they doing it this year?

The only early park openings are for Joe Cool Club Members.

When Dan Keller ariived last year, they changed to a "flexible park opening." Basically what it means is that everyone gets confused about what time CP opens. To find out what time they open on the day of your visit, go to the operating calendar on the official site and click on the date. It will tell you what time gates open that day to the GP. JCC and resort guests get in a half hour before this time. In general it is 9AM (8:30 for JCC) on Saturdays but the rest of the days are either 9:30 or 10AM. During the midlle of the summer most days are 9:30 and 9 on Saturdays. Check the site to be sure though. Can you tell I think this idea is stupid? ;)

What the heck is the Joe Cool Club?

Never mind, I just found it on their site...

I noticed on the site they updated those opening time popups. They now state specifically when JCC members and resort guests get in. They must have gotten a lot of questions on this.

When they say resort members, do they mean Breaker's Express also?

Yes I would recommend checking the website before planning you trip just to confirm when you are allowed into the park. Yes, Theresa T, Breakers Express is included in the resort members early enterance feature. But, again, check before you go...it almost got really ugly on Saturday when we went...and we stayed at Express as well :)
