Don't hide the Giant Wheel!

I absolutely adore this ride, moreso now in it's new location! I love how it looks next to the Space Spiral and the beach. There is, however, one thing that is bothering me (besides it's location next to a rather ugly looking building - DT) There is a very big tree that sits right in front of GW. When you stroll down the midway, or ride on the Sky Ride, that enormous tree hides it! Cut it down!!! Don't hide such a beautiful ride!!

Shade, Beauty, Shade, Beauty!? You decide! LOL!

"Your obssesed w/ that place aren't you?" (as stated by my best-friends about CP)
I don't remember noticing that the tree was that obtrusive. It's a lot less hidden there then it was behind that giant screen! I would shy against removing trees in that area of the park; there are so few as it is.

on a side note: remember that old CP logo with the Giant wheel, Space Spiral and the train? Interesting how those three while not all near each other at the time suddenly have more of a connection now.

Cutting down any of the trees on that midway should be a crime, as they are some of the oldest and tallest in the park. The wheel does appear somewhat blocked from the main midway, but isn't bad at all from along the games toward Space Spiral.

Come on now, we don't want CP to look like the themed sections of a Six Flags Park, barren and treeless!

Don't get me wrong, Jeff. I never would one Six Flags replicated at CP, let alone promote cutting down trees. But I feel that they should show off the beauty of that ride.

I think that every tree that is sacrificed in the name of development, one should be planted somewhere else in the park to replace it.

They should cut down *NO* trees, and plant more new ones. Trees are a prime part of the Cedar Part experience, and one that has sadly diminished over the years.

Does anyone know where the remaining Cedar trees are?

Cedar trees can be found on the beach near the Bon Aire wing of the Breakers.
