Extreme Sports Stadium

With more than 25 years of Cedar Point trips under my belt, I can safely say that I have never gone to a show in Extreme Sports Stadium.

Do you think this a waste of space?

Not for those who go and enjoy the shows. I admit though I went more when it was Aquatic Stadium.

It may be because I really only go during Halloweekends now (because I live so far away) and they don't run a lot of the shows... but is the attendance very good at this venue?

All Wheels Extreme is a really good show. Every time I've gone, it seems well attended and been well received.

I really enjoy the show, and whenever I go I see it pretty crowded. I really don't consider it a waste of space at all as the building is used both as Live E storage and Maintenance for Windseeker and Wicked Twister.
I just wish they would put a show in there for Halloweekends! The stage is a pretty good size and I think there is a lot of potential there!

It seems like they add a few new elements to the show every season in order to keep it fresh.

its fun to watch when your on windseeker lol

I think the park needs shows like this and probably a few more especially during Halloweekends. That being said, the stadium sits on some pretty nice real estate and it obstructs what could be a great view of the lake.

I think your talking about Disaster Transport. :)

^ :) +1

but both of them actually. The stadium does hold a lot of important things, but if it weren't there, WT's queues wouldn't be all messed up (compared to 2010 season) for crane access to Windseeker and WT. Those queues are a hot mess and attract all kinds of line jumpers.

Damn...line jumpers...One thing I'm happy I won't have to deal with it this year, unless it happens in front of me or I see it...I hated that ****...people come by the entrance, cut over under the chains to the queue in front of the stairs, or jump under one or whatever...Wost was some bitches came through the employee only gate under the ride's station drop off and jumped in the queue right there...Needless to say, she got booted quick...I wish we were allowed to have tasers..life would be so much easier at crowd

Are you referring to the stadium or yourself? ;) I'll answer both.

No. The stadium is not a waste of space. The show there now is the most popular since Misty, Breeze, Coco, and Flipper were there.

Maybe. You might be a waste of space because you have gone to Cedar Point for 25 years and never seen a show there. What else haven't you done in 25 years? :)

25 years and never seen a show there? I've seen the Dolphins, Dive Show and extreme sports there, and I would say extreme sports brings in more people than the other shows did. Except for the dolphin show when it was new.

I didn't mean to cause a stir!!

I don't really go to any of the shows at CP... maybe I should start!

I'm glad that it is well-attended, and I will have to carve out some time in my coaster-schedule to see a show or two next time I'm there!

Yours truly,

waste-o-space :-)

I worked the All Wheels show this past year and never got tired of seeing it. It's a unique show and just about every show they add a few new things to it. And the shows filled up quite well on a daily basis.

Yeah as I said before I saw it a few times over the summer. And pressure washing that stadium once a month was BAAADDD!
But I still wish they would do something closer to what they do at Knott's with a live band and even doing a night show with lights!

All Wheels Extreme is a really cool show! And when I was working, it always gave me something to watch 4 times a day! Now that the Beach Entrance area is completely facelifted with Windseeker, I just wish I could move the stadium somewhere else but still have the cool view while watching the show.

The show only ran 3 times a day, only one day a week it had 4 shows.

Here is a good idea of what a typical crowd looked like at the Stadium. So Id say it is pulling in enough of a crowd to keep it going.

Wow! I had no idea! ...

Again, I only come for Halloweekend now, so it has been a while I have even seen a show offered there.

I really didn't know how much it was used.

I'm glad that it is so well attended!
