Frontier Trail Better Now?

Personaly I have really grown to like the new frontier trail. I think that they did a great job on restoring some cool stuff that was usually overlooked. I like the way TF pass looks, along with the addition of Millennium Force. So whats your guys opinions?
I like the tunnel...and I honestly can't really tell too much about the missing trees. Millenium Force has been down a lot these past few days so the noise at the farm hasn't been 'bothering' us much. :) but it actuality, it really isn't that loud to begin with. The one thing that I really dislike now about the trail, is that Frontier Trail was actually made longer..as if our walk wasn't long enough to get to the farm!

I really like the trail, the crowd I have to say is larger but, I do still like it.

I think the Trail looks great. The tunnels add a nice bit of theming and the entire trail has been given a very nice facelift. The twist in the trail by the tunnel also make the trail more interesting than the straight shot it was in the past. *** This post was edited by Pete on 5/23/2000. ***
It's alright but again Cedar Point was never great at themeing.

I was impressed the most by Disaster Transport. You can actually see lazers and it's completely dark. They just need to turn up those speakers so you don't have to cup your ear just to hear it over the loud echo's of clicks and clanks.

Disaster Transport does not, and never did have lasers. Lasers are coherent beams of light, and are used only in the Summer Spectacular.

The lights in the MF station are just disco lights (High End Systems' Technobeams) with etched logo gobos. DT has some weak theatrical lighting and more disco lights.

And on the walls during the lift of DT, it looks like they stole some lights off of a ferris wheel. I liked the lift better a few years ago when it was just smokey beams of light.

Back to the topic, I kind of like the new trail, with the curve. I just think that they need to have a definite point where the trail starts and the midway ends; the "futuristic" MF station really blurs this.

Oops... I rode it again! *** This post was edited by jonC on 5/24/2000. ***
Well, back in olden times... There was actually a wooden gateway of sorts with the name Frontier Trail emblazoned on the top at the northwestern entrance to the trail from Frontier Town. Nothing ever existed at the south eastern end if my memory serves, but I believe these "gates" would be a nice touch...again. (Rather cost conscious also.)
