Well one time I went on Mantis, and wanted to get the seat with the shortest line, and there was a row with nobody in line so that's the one I picked. Prior to getting in the station, I noticed they were running empty trains but didn't think anything of it. Anyway, I got on the car, pulled the restraints down, and buckled the seatbelt. It was strange because I thought the seatbelt sort of felt wet, but once again I just assumed it was nothing. After getting off the ride, I noticed on myself and the person I was riding with, that there was a large wet spot on my pants at a very bad spot, if you know what I mean ;) We then realized that someone must have gotten sick on the ride, and the rideops washed the seats, and that's why empty trains were running for a little bit. It would also explain why the seatbelt was wet, and why there was nobody waiting for those seats, since nobody wanted to go on them after someone threw up! Unfortunately for us, we didn't know about that and got the wet/formely puked on seats, and had to walk around with a big wet spot on the front of our pants for a while haha.

And on another trip, I was on Gemini with my family, and since there were trains still in the station when our train finished the helix at the end, the brakes before the station suddenly stopped the train very hard. The train screeched to a jarring halt without even slowing down a little first. I know why this happened and that we'd crash if it didn't but it still wan't very fun. Back to my story, so we waited for a couple minutes and the trains in the station still weren't leaving, forcing us to wait on the brake run. After about 15 minutes of waiting, a ride op walked over and told us we'd have to do a walk-off. I was excited since this was a while ago and I was a kid who always wanted to have a walk-off. Granted it wasn't on a lift hill or something high like I've always wanted to happen to me (call me crazy) but it was still cool. I don't remember what the holdup was exactly in the station, but I think someone got sick. So far that's the only time I've had to have a walk-off, and it was actually pretty fun.

And to add one more thing that happened on another trip, the park closed and we were driving out of the parking lot and onto the causeway when a tiny car was driving besides us. You could tell it was full of people, and that they had played some game and won one of those huge stuffed gorilla things. Their car wasn't much bigger than the gorilla was, so they put it on the roof, and the people sitting by all the car's windows rolled the windows down, reached their arms out, and held on to a part of the gorilla. it was pretty funny to see.

This opening day, saturday night, my husband and I decided to get in line for Dragster at night, when it broke down. we all stood for a while, until the ride ops came down into the que area and stood way up on the rails, and apologized, then announced they would be taking everyone to either MF or maverick. It was past closing. When we headed back onto the midway, they separated us into two groups, one line for MF, the other for maverick. We decided to ride maverick. so we got into our groups and they led us through the midway to maverick. We paraded into the que like wild animals, then got up to the station. My husband and I were one of the first people in. Mav crew had the trains parked in the station with all the harnesses up. We waited for about 15 mins until a ride op said that Mav was broken as well! people started leaving and became angry. Then maintenance came and texted on their phones for a while, then disappeared. Soon, the crew announced that they will be taking us to MF! so......we all paraded through the frontier trail until we got to MF's exit. The people from the original dragster group were still there riding. Then we all got on. By the time our ride was over, the super came to the platform and told just our train that if we chose to ride again, we would be the last ride of the night! so.....we did.

In 1989 My friend and I were the 1st to people on the Magnum XL 200 on Opening Day. We got stuck 3 Times going out the Station, Half the way up the hill, and out of the 3rd Tunnel too. Another day My cousin found 2 $20.00 on the same day. A few yrs ago I was the only one on the Blue Streak, CHAOS, and the MEAN STREAK the same day.

Funny thing is, one day I was with a group of mates driving out of the park in our tiny car, when a gorilla grabbed on to the roof, we were trying to wrestle it off and shout for help but everyone just drove straight past - they must have thought it was a stuffed toy we were trying to keep on....

and if you believe that.....

I'm not going to call this weird, but it was funny. Back in 1989 I was on Magnum with my Uncle and he lost his sun glass lens on the hill.

There was the time that my friend and I were in line for Disaster Transport, and we were talking about weird celebrities, including Cher, and then this manly, large woman with hair down to her knees that was standing in front of us, and she whipped around and gave us a fifteen lecture on why Cher was the greatest singer and actress alive, and gave us details on some of Cher's wigs... Those were the worst fifteen minutes of my life.

I meet my extended family in Cedar Point every year for Halloweekends...

One year while I was in the fright zone with my family, I told a Screamster my mom's name so he could harrass her a bit.

He followed us around for a good section of the fright zone chanting her name, and it absolutely terrified her...

We went back into that fright zone the following night, and out of nowhere that Screamster yelled 'HEY MELINDA!!! I SEE YOU'RE BACK FOR MORE!!'

She ran out of there faster than I have ever seen any member of my family run before!

I was very impressed that the Screamster remembered her from the night before!
