Good places to eat in CP?

I must admit that I don't eat too much in theme parks, but since I will be in CP in May for 2 1/2 days, I was wondering what's good to eat.  I can eat pretty much anything.  I did try the buffet at the Midway Market and that was pretty good.

So what are some good places to eat?

Employee cafeteria, good food cheap, but you need to be a Cedar Fair employee.
There's a great little place called "Cooler in the Trunk." It's a bit of a walk to get there. They stuck it way out in the parking lot. The crowds are light, it's the cheapest spot in the park and everything is custom made to your personal tastes. I personally wouldn't eat anywhere else!
My favorite food in the park is the Philly Steak Sandwich place by the Space Needle.  If anyone says that they aren't good, then they have serious issues with their sense of taste and smell.

I've been to "Cooler in the Trunk," but since they don't have cotton candy, french fries, cheese-on-a-stick, and other traditional favorites, I rarely go back. Besides, they serve the same food I can get at home.

My opinion on best bets: Midway Market, Bay Harbor Inn, Mr. Potato, and Frontier Inn.

I love eating at the Breakwater Cafe near Sandcastle Suites for lunch.  Get your hand stamped and head out there.  You can use the Resort courtesy van if you like.

The food isn't outstanding but other than Bay Harbor I don't consider any CP food outstanding.  Breakwater is usually quiet during lunch and has the best view on the Point.

those philly cheese steaks are NASTY i had one this summer and threw about 75% of it away. I think the best place in the park is either the Silver Dollar Cafe or the fry stands
Try Midway Market...the best value at CP. Also, the Boathouse is a nice break from the park. Bay Harbor Inn is excellent for an evening meal (pricey but worth it).
if you are looking for a good hot dog, Gullivers Grill by Magnum is the place to go!

My favorite place to eat is the Stockade area for Employess--yum...black chili for your fries, and hamburgers darker than the night itself...and don't get my started on the chicken fingers, which are cooked right 2 days out of the summer (both which I missed last year)...once again proving that the back really is the armpit of the park...I'd have killed for pizza back there.
If you want to leave the park for awhile since you are there for 2 days, I always stop at Margarettaville when I am in Sandusky.

I prefer Breakwater Cafe for their breafast buffet, normal park junk food for lunch (corndogs and cheese fries--YUM), and dinner depends.  If it's just me and the hubby, we love Bay Harbour...yeah, it's pricey, but the food is excellent and we deserve a treat now and then.  Or we go into Sandusky.  Margaritaville is EXCELLENT.

Margaritaville is excellent....excellently overpriced....if you want the best Sandusky food...Chet and Matt's pizza!!
I suspect Breakwater is last on Walt's list b/c few people venture out that far.
The Shake I got once from coasters was good. Breakwater Cafe was also a good resturant.
If you do find good stuff to eat in the park then for dessert you gotta head over to Beaches ~N~ Cream at the Breakers, they have the best shakes!

I like Happy Friar over by Raptor. They even have vinegar for the fries.
