Halloweekends Music

I would like to make a couple observations and a suggestion.

Observation: using 'Scream' by Ozzy after the Overlord leaves is AWESOME. Love it! Good call!

Observation: the Overlord isn't being given the right type of set or presentation on that scaffold.

Observation: the music that is used in the Screamworks area is goofy. I don't think you are intending it to be goofy, cause the Screamsters back there aren't goofy. THEY ROCK.

Suggestion: Midnight Syndicate is an amazing band that has put out a lot of great Halloween music. Is there any way that you could use their music or incorporate it into a show somehow? Perhaps you could invite them out to play even?

I absolutely love coming to CP every year for Halloweekends. It is the highlight of my fall and I look forward to it every year. It keeps getting better and better. :)

I don't feel like celtic rock is good for cut throat cove. I guess they mention pirates a couple times but thats it. I miss hearing the jason theme music in the fright zone.

I heards the Jaws theme a few times near Cornstalkers. That is awesome.

I heard a lot of people in line talking about how awesome it was to hear the Halo theme. I never played, so I'm not on the bandwagon. :)

That Halo music has been around for quite some time.

There was a significant amount of score from The Dark Knight, which I felt was well-suited to the atmosphere.

I hear a lot of horror themes (Nightmare on Elm Street)... where I feel that Cedar Point does a great job is at their midway music during the daytime. They seem to have a fairly diverse selection.

I agree with the OP, Midnight Syndicate would be great to hear throughout the scarier parts of the evening.

They played the song from "wicked" the musical in line for Maverick, then later the theme from National treasure came on, thought that was random to play in maverick's line.

I am trying to find a song that is played during halloweekends that I have heard both times I was at the park.

The song has no lyrics, and can be heard by Cornstalkers and screamworks, although it is more noticeable by cornstalkers. The best way to describe it is if you were to dance, you would be hoppy and it kinda makes me think of a train engine chugging along. It is technoish a little bit.

If anyone knows what song this could be it would be greatly appreciated! I love this song to death, but cannot figure out what it is.

Thanks!

Sweet Pea,

You might want to try and Shazam the song if you have a smart phone with that app. That is, if you are going to be there again this year. I know the music they have in the Screamworks area is kinda goofy (for the monsters, I mean), and techno-ish. Good luck in your search for an answer!
