How do you make the most of your $150 purchase?

Besides going as often as possible....do you take advantage of any of the extra perks besides the extra riding?

I save cash with the discounts 10-15% can be a lot

Platinum passholder '09. Rides so far this year on -MF-3-TTD-5-mav.-3- my car to the point-2

We use the "buy one get one free" miniature golf and the
free fries with burger purchase at Coaster's.

I personally grab my parking ticket for the day and stand outside the gates and sell it for $5. Over 30 trips I manage to make the most of my $150.

Almost always use the morning ERT. Do the ERT nights, used the discount on Sundaes on Sunday. Go to Soak City a lot too.

Keep the 150 bucks in my wallet oh wait i'm broke i dont have money. Thanks to my work for cutting back on my hours to only 3 hours a day instead of 8.

I've been laid off since October 2008. This economy is really killing me.

I use my pass about 60 times a year. I travel to King's Island, King's Dominion, Cedar point, and Dorney Park. The best perk is the scooby bucks at King's Dominion, get $100 in park money for 90. I use the bring a friend at Dorney. The ERT at all the parks is probably the best perk. My kids love the double scoop ice cream cones at Beaches in Hotel Breakers for $3. This year we plan on going to Carowinds and take advantage of their perks like the park money at 10% off too. Last year at King's Dominion we saved almost $250 just in park money.

I know that I will hit Geauga Lakes water park on hot days becausr it is close to my house! I also take advantage of the discounts on the on-boars pictures. I also will go on days where the weather is not up to par.

How do you get back into the parking lot? I thought they can only scan the pass once a day?

We will be going camping at the point. And with the money we save there, we are going to camp at kings dominion for the first time this year. A friend of mine went to dominion last year with her family and said it was very nice, and the geauga lake rides there also make it a great place to go.

Last year I spent it on both getting into Cedar Point and Soak City and i did all the discounts on on-ride photos and at the stores. :)

So stoked for 2010 :]

This is my first year buying the platinum pass, I bought the regular last year and it's so much smarter to buy the platinum.

First rollback=opening weekend '09

$10 parking really adds up, plus if you have a park close to home its very nice to use the water park when it is really hot.

I would go to MIA more if the place didn't stank in the water park. There are a few places that smell straight up like a diaper.

Tell all the Michigan jokes you want, you will never out-do our biggest joke of all. But I will leave Gov. Granmole out of it.

MiA is my home park but I only hit the water park early in the season and never had any issues with stanky water. I am sure that by mid summer that could be an issue.

Last year I was at CP six days total so that is $60 saved just in parking alone. This year I plan on making it to KI also, so I'm just taking advantage of the park entrance and parking fees.

This year i will make sure i use it to the fullest. I plan to visit Cedar point multiple time like around 15!, Soak City at least three times, Kings island twice, And Michigan's Adventure twice. Use it to get my early entry, The ERT's on Thursdays, and of coarse the free parking. Im pretty sure ill get use of it this year. The only thing ill be spending money on is gas and a few buys at the park. I am planning on taking my luch and skipping dinner. Ill just have a snack on the way home.

I know I thought about buying the Cedarpoint only pass, but then I thought the platnum would make more sense and I glad I did! we went to Geauga Lake water park many times and Kings Island and Kings Dominion. I am hoping to see Dorney this year or Michigan Adventure! I am still hoping to see Knotts this year, but with our job situation, it is on hold for now! To me it is well worth the money!

I want to meet the people that buy the cedar point only pass, then add on free parking for 50 dollars.
