I love Johnny Rockets!! It's my favorite Cedar Point restaurant. And now that I'm back at the Point this season, :) I'll be a frequent visitor along with my husband, of course.

Sorry, sweetprincesskimmie I have never been to JR but I hear it is a good place to eat and chill.I would demolish the building around DT and make it back to AR, I would turn Mantis into a floorless coaster. And I would also put it a B&M Flyer because I hear they rock. A 4-D as well because I have alsways wanted to ride one.

Alright, I would actually like to change many things, but if only one thing, then I would like to see customer service improve a lot. Not saying it isn't good, its mediocre in my opinion. It could get better.

Two things on my wishlist:

1. Fix the seatbelts. I am not very large and always have extra belt to tighten up, but the problem on many rides I find is that I have trouble fastening the belts because the side of the belt that has the buckle on it that is attached to the side of the car is just too darn short. If your your thighs are large or very muscular you have a hard time getting hold of the buckle on this short little like 4 inch piece of belt on the outside. Just make them longer on the buckle side. What is wrong with the belt fastening in your center rather than on the side?

2. Bring back Millennium Mania.

I would change the seat belts to fit everyone. After all all you have to do if there long enough is to tighten them down.

But making seat belts fit everyone is just not safe. You have to understand the forces that push against the restrainst. The heavier the person is, the more force. Isn't that why one person died, because they were too big?

I'm sure Dave can elaborate further on the mechanics behind traditional lap bars, but it has nothing to do with the forces against the restraint. I bet those lap bars are designed to withstand much more force than they'll ever encounter. If it was about weight, you'd have a weight limit for the ride instead of a size limit. The seat belts, in part, are used to help make sure the restraints fit properly by limiting riders whose size prohibits proper fit. Seat belts on Millennium Force are shorter now than in 2000 because of the accident at Knott's. The manufacturer is being cautious, even if it means excluding borderline riders who could safely ride.

It does remind me of a story. Before a flight from Washington, D.C. to Cleveland, the flight attendant announced that the plane was overweight and that the last passenger to board had to get off and take another flight. The only person who left couldn't have weighed more than 200 lbs. So 200 lbs leaves the plane and all of the sudden it's safe to fly? I don't know about that ...

Was it a smaller plane Walt? Even a plane the size of a EMB 135 may have weight problems having to do with not the absolute weight, but with the center of gravity shifting to the rear because of loading. One person leaving may put the center of gravity in the right place when the pilots do the calculation. For practical purposes, that one person probably didn't matter. But it's important for the pilot's good standing with the FAA that the calculations work out.

Okay, my list of the things I'd change is long so be forewarned:

add queue line TVs, make more rides with themes, add themeing throughout the park, make the queue lines covered, lower the prices of the pop machines, lower the prices of the hotels, add more discounts for the guests.... and I could go on but I won't bore you all. :p

When I mentioned fixing the belts, I do not need them any longer. I fit the belt just fine and like I said have plenty of belt to tighten after I get them fastened. I want the belt "reconfigured" so the length of the belt that has the buckle is longer - more than just the few inches it is - so that fastening the belt is easier to do with the buckle in front of me. If your legs happen to be larger than most, even if you aren't a large person, the belts can be almost impossible to get a hold of and fasten. That has nothing to do with being to big to ride.

The one thing I would change about Cedar Point would be the location of TTD. It totally screwed with Iron Dragon's trees, and I LOVED those trees! I also loved walking along Iron Dragon & watching it. Other than that, I wouldn't change anything.
