Is it to early to be asking?

Its never to early to be planning!

So who is all going on Opening Day!?!?! Saturday, May 16th btw..

I am hoping to go because i can drive myself down and my Parents got me a 2009 Platinum Pass for my birthday.

Just not sure when ill pick up my pass... maybe a day before and sleep in the car (i live 2 hrs away.. waste driving down in April for only the pass...) Any advice for when i should pick the pass up? Also, the SP center opens during the ERT in the morning right?

I will probally be going. It seems too far away right now but it'll be here before we all know it. I had the 08 pass last year I ended up driving down in April to pick it up cause I knew it would be crazy to process on Opening Day, and it was. If you're up to it sleeping in the car might be a good idea since you'll be at the park bright in early for the morning ERT. I'd say that is better than driving down in April, but it was kinda nice being the only one processing my pass that day.

I actually processed mine on opening day with no problem at all this past year. I walked right in and walked right out. This was at about 7:30 am though. As for opening day, I don't plan on missing one ever again (at least until my body can't handle it any more) :)

Well, it may be to early, but I guess it's not TOO early.

It kind of sounds like you just got your license "I am hoping to go because i can drive myself down and my Parents got me a 2009 Platinum Pass for my birthday." and you sound a little young. If you are, and I might be completely wrong on your age, I wouldn't recommend going by yourself. I wouldn't even drive if I were you. The drive home is horrible and I don't know if I would let my kid go on their own.. but again, I might be wrong on the age.

nonsense. With all the stimulants you can buy at a gas station nowadays ;)

I drove myself from about age 17 on, for what it's worth.

I bought my car in June 2006 and drove down a couple of weeks later. The reason I never did before that was because my parents wouldn't let me take their car. I was also 17 at the time.

I am turning 17 next week. Sorry for leading that i just got it yesterday. if i did get it yesterday, then im not driving down there for a bit longer.

Also i have already memorized how to get there and back, and where the best stops are on the route. (Taco Bell/Long John Silver combo! every year!)

mm Taco Bell and Long John Silver. I'm riding with you. lol.

Long John Silvers deep fried everything on their menu just until recently. I haven't been there in ages.

Taco Bell......no way man. Qdoba all the way.

I am jealous his parents spent $160 on his birthday though. Lets see what I get on my birthday this december 8th.

Do you get your Christmas and birthday presents together? Taco Bell mexican pizza with sour cream, onions, the cinnamon swirlies, and of course a sprite. Now my mission is to find a Taco Bell in Alabama.

No xmas and bday together. I would protest if that happened.

Cinnamon swirlies are...are good.

You mean Alabama doesn't have a Taco Bell hahahahahahahaha.

Screw Taco Bell, Alabama has zaxby's chicken!

haha yeah Zaxby's is very popular down here. There is one right next to the Walmart. :) I have yet to eat there though.

Thanks for the sympathy Ryan. I'm pretty sure we have a T Bell. I just have to look for one.

Eat there and get their super steaming hot nuclear sauce. That stuff is awesome.

I might try to get there opening day this up coming season. I never have before because I didn't have enough vacation time, but this winter I'm not going away anywhere so that frees up 7 days of vacation time.

I don't like hot sauce, but I guess because you said so I will have to try it.:) I always see their commercials and their food looks so good. But we are tight on money right now, so we havn't been eating out at all.

Quick Question. Do you get Free Parking when you first go to Cedar Point when you dont have the pass yet? (like show Receipt or something?) or do you get 10 dollars back when you get your pass?
