They do not shut down MF for the Summer Spectacular.
I got to the POV of MF's drop while waiting in the MF queue. It freak me out because the lake was on the right and it turned left, then I realized I was watching it as a mirror. The ride looked even better turn left.
I was watching the Sucktacular while in line both nights I was there. God, it's cheezy as ever. I was more entertained watching the lights on MF!

Yeah, but did you notice that the frequency of MF trains flying past seemed less during the show? All 4 nights I was there, I hopped in line at 9:45, and MF seemed to not run trains during the peak of the show.

I had just got off MF and the Summer Spectacular was almost over. So it does run during the Summer Spectacular. I still don't understand why you guys hate it so much. It surely has to be better than Pirate's 4-D.

Welcome back Raptor riders, how was your flight?
Seven-of-9, I noticed the frequency changes in MF too. When there were any sorts of fireworks, they seemed like they would be holding it for a bit, like they had it all timed. I can't believe that any park could have something like that timed.
That made me mad because I was trying to get a good photo of the train on the last turn with fireworks at the same time.
Actually when I went last Wednesday, as the train went into the final turn they shot off the grand finale. Would have been a nice photo.
