Maverick/White Water layout

Was at the point today, because it rules my life and i was looking at the old model of White Water Landing. And given the latest pieces of track put up and the model of WWL, it's pretty funny how the layout is almost the same.

INTERESTING.

and i apologize if this has been noted before, i work a lot......

Yeah, it is fishy i think that they are going to replace WWL with an Aquatrax. just my opinion.

I honestly dont care what kind of coaster it is. I still dont think it will be a water coaster because how would the name Maverick (which is still not for sure) fit in with a boat ride? I'm done speculating, i just thought this was funny.

Am I missing someing I really don't see the same layout as white water. I think it is going to be totally different.

Is it sad that I barely remember WWL? I'm not one for water rides unless it's at a water park & hot as hell!

i agree with coasterXtreme72

I don't see it either.

man that thing took up a lot of space. LOL!! I loved riding it, but what an inefficient use of land. ha ha!!

Omg is it even worth trying to go further with this? Look at the SPECIFIC curves. they match what we have so far. I just thought that it was funny that white water's layout, slightly, in the least bit, if you squint a little. Thanks for once again ruining any experience i have on pointbuzz. Goodnight folks!

The only similarity that I see between what I saw at the park the other day and what I saw in that aerial photo is... Um...

I don't see any.

I see absolutely no similarity, whatsoever. If you ever actually rode WWL then you would now that not once during its course did it do a wide left, then right, then left again right it a row without a decent stretch of straightaway. Matter of fact, that turn sequence never existed on WWL, let alone in the spot you're talking about.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

Is this thread REALLY STILL GOING? What purpose does it serve?

Is this thread REALLY STILL GOING? What purpose does it serve? "It looks like the old WWL." "NO it doesn't" I have to say I have made threads that have been more of an insight than this and they always get locked or Deleted. I think he is talking about the section in WWL where the track snakes in an S turn which is similar to the section of P2007 where there is a highly banked S turn. I doubt that the layout of WWL has anything to do with P2007. Its just a coincidence, but I do see the point TTD2005 was trying to make.

The major difference there being that P2007 is about 10 feet off the ground at that point, and WWL was around the tree tops.

But I see what TTD's saying too.

I see a similarity... but nothing more than that, and I think it's completely coincidental.

Ok first, you guys rock. Second. I'm not saying they took the same exact track. you know what. haha i'm done with you guys. I work at the freakin place, i know what the heck i am talking about. ONCE AGAIN, I REITERATE, IT SLIGHTLY, A LITTLE BIT, looks like the LAYOUT (not the exact track) of WWL. There are obviously major differences, I was waiting for someone to be like "Uh duh, one is a roller coaster!" Sorry my posts dont live up to your standards, I'm too busy working at the place you sit on your computer at home and stare at.
