Millennium Force first than Son Of Beast?

If cedar point had Son of Beast and Millennium Force, what one would you ride the most putting aside that Cedar Point doesn't own it?

Are you serious? Son Of Beast doesn't even compare to Millennium Force! But I guess it just depends on what kind of coaster you like best.
i think what he means is..."would we be more excited for SOB if it was at CP...or would we STILL be more excited for MF, even if MF was at PKI?" i think it all boils down to park preference. i mean, what it there was no MF and only SOB, but SOB was going up at CP? very interesting question...

"I think I scrambled my brain!!"

Hmmm...I've thought about this one alot...

It seems that Millennium Force is getting alot more publicity. I mean look at the stats on other websits. SOB is kinda getting left in the shadow. (not that I have a problem with it..I am a loyal CP fan) But...SOB is the world's first hyperwoodie!!! That is pretty impressive. Hope it doesn't get rough like other mega woodies we know.

magnum of MF now that is a real question.
If MF was at PKI it would be built by Togo or who ever could build it the cheapest.

If S.O.B was at CP it would be built by CCI or GCI to insure a high quality, safe ride. regardless of the higher cost.

I would be at CP riding a 200 ft. CCI.

I think the hype around the MF is also in part due to the efforts of the parks themselves. When was the last time PKI updated their web site? (probably today after i opened up my big mouth). They don't even have a web cam up even though the icon has been there for quite some time.

Another thought, MF was anounced after everyone else had anounced. Kind of trying to deflate the others news.
Thanks servo, that is what I ment, I just didn't know how to word it.

In these days and ages,
wood coasters are being put on the back-burner. A new 350 ft. steel coaster opening would gain more attention than a pretty high (for a woodie) 150 ft. wooden coaster that goes underwater..

Hometown parks: Kennywood, Cedar Point!
46 days until "The Force
"
I'll tell you I'd rather see a good woodie at the Point than a multi looper. The only exception would be if the multi-looper was a launched coaster.
Son of the Beast is going to be like 20 Mean Streaks together and it's only 160 feet! And going through a loop! It really does not sound safe and from Premiere? Don't get me wrong, I love Kings Island and The Beast but M.Force is going to crush S.o.B!
I would actually much rather see CP place a good out-n-back woodie rather than a deca-looper.

Then I would love to see a launched floorless kinda like hulk going through the island, but I think my dreams can wait for now.
Well the people from CCI have said that there is no real need to make a lift hill over 125ft. They are right, look at some of their great woodies, I mean Shivering Timbers is a great ride from start to finish, remember bigger doesn't mean better. We kinda got off topic. Honestly if CP got something like SoB rather than the Force I wouldn't be as excited as I am about the Force.

GCI would have built SoB if CP built it, mainly because CCI didn't want the job. The successful placed the highest bid at PKI solely to avoid it.
I will be at CP on opening day to ride Millennium Force but I am not planning to go to PKI until August. I do not want to go near SOB until that thing has well proven it will not injure riders. Even though both coasters go where none have gone before, I feel much more secure that the Millennium Force will be totally safe the day it opens. New heights and faster speeds on a steel coaster don't bother me near as much as a 200 ft looping wooden coaster does. And when I do go on SOB I will be prepared for a very rough ride, because it just seems to defy physics to say that it will be smooth. The largest wooden coasters to date; Mean Streak, Texas Giant, Rattler and Beast, are all well known for being quite rough. I am not from Missouri but they are still going to have to 'show me' that SOB will be the best wooden coaster ever built. I personally think that it is a huge gamble with a even larger risk that it will not be popular due to roughness. That is my two cents worth.
good call...I'm gonna wait for some feedback on it before I ride it. As for Millennium Force...put me on the train right now!
I am sure you guys will all agree that SoB smells better than MF though. Steel just dosen't have the smell a woodie does. Of course they will have nothing after the first year.

-------------
Millennium Force will be the next to sink!
Magnum is sinking.. when i'm on a coaster the smell is the last thing from my mind i just sit back and enjoy the g's and the first hill.. and how can we agree it smells better when none of us have ridden it yet?

-------------
magnum of MF now that is a real question.
If for some reason you ever become depressed that CP doesn't have a SOB type ride just think the. SOB will be like Mean Streak times 20.
i would just like to say that smell is included in my coaster-riding experience believe it or not... the smell of the grease or oil or whatver from the chain (specifically by gemini and mean streak) are great.. fresh wood smells good too of course...

The lumber smell is only good for about the first year...
