Yesterdays view of the midway was pretty exciting with the crane near Raptor. ;)

But other than that I would say move all three.......or rather the one that's left since the other 2 are the ones that are obviously already moving.

Maybe they're pulling our legs on this one and they're just going to remount the Midway Cam in nearly the same spot. They did try to fool us with the dirt pile.

I just don't see why they would remove the cam that has a great view of Raptor, Power Tower, & Top Thrill.

It's definitely a conspiracy! ;)

I think you'll be happy with what we're doing with it. In fact, I'll be installing it later today. Can't promise when it will be live tho.

I want the Planet Snoopy cam to be on Disaster Transport overlooking that whole midway. The Goodtime cam should go over to the back of the park. SRF was a good spot or Maybe from the Meanstreak station overlooking Maverick and such. For the main midway I say put on Colosseum over by Pagoda and have it point to the front of the park. If there was a 4th cam it should go on power tower pointing in TTDs and MF direction.

There should be cams that capture riders faces off of SRF.. or maverick...or both!

There are already cameras on maverick that capture rider reactions.

Not on the webcams though, haha. I'm just joking about the idea, though...though it'd be good for the humility.

Haha, yeah. No, if you want real humility, you wanna tap into Top Thrill Dragster's cameras. Now that would be great! :)

It would also be nice to have live stream cams. I know its been talked about before and Tony said to much web traffic would not allow this to happen but looks that the Carowinds website they have to of them and they update every second and they just added them this past off season. The picture is not also great but it is till nice in the day.

What is the fascination with Web cams? Seriously. They show essentially the same picture all of the time.

Well, there are SOME pictures on the internet that I don't mind staring at for long periods of time.

...though admittedly...staring a pictures from Cedar Point is not a favorite pasttime of mine.

Can I get an amen?!?

Speaking of webcams take a look at the Goodtime came, you can see they are starting to put the cars on the Giant Wheel.

Yeah, the image may seem to never change, but it gives us an idea of what Cedar Point is up to right now. We have a chance to see CP readying itself our visits. Installing items like the buckets on the Giant Wheel, the building of Planet Snoopy, hopefully testing soon, and other items and that alone is before the park even opens. Some great observations can be made from these simple images.

Great might be an over-statement.

You mean they're testing rides and getting the park ready to open? I would've never guessed.

Jeff - Advocate of Great Great Tunnels™ - Co-Publisher - PointBuzz - CoasterBuzz - Blog - Music

Well, the same could be said for your Cedar Point pictures Jeff. What do they show me? Rides in motion? Wow, never would've guess anything at Cedar Point actually moves. Pictures of a park bench under a tree? Wow, I mean, thats so interesting. See how mature I sound?

Your sarcasm can be canned. Some people see interesting things in the webcam. Some people don't. But, some might find your pictures (or even mine) to be the most uninteresting and pointless pictures of all. Others don't.

Take a chill pill once in awhile Jeff...maybe moderating is going to your head.

*ahem*

If there were threads popping up giving an in-depth analysis of each picture on PB, I'd bet Jeff would have the same complaint.

Its not the interest in the web cams that's being mocked, but rather the interest in discussing every little thing, such as ride testing.
