New Coaster Creations

I dedicate this topic to new coaster ideas that are REALISTIC. Cedar Point is an amazing park with amazing rides and roller coasters. Whenever I go there, I get a wonderful felling when I see all the steel and wood coaster creations. Also, I always come up with new ideas for roller coasters that can actually work. Here is one idea that I came up with:

I think it would be cool to have an Intamin caoster that is only lift hills that have sensational drops like on Millennium Force. There would be about 7 lift hills and drops ranging in size and steepness. For example, the fisrt lift hill can be 260 feet tall with a cable lift. The drop could be about 70 degrees. Then, you will travel over an airtime hill, and come to a stop using magnetic brakes. Next, you will take a slow chain lift to a height of 90 feet with a 55 degree drop. This would continue a few more times. I think it would be very fun because many first drops are the best parts of the ride. This would also allow for many trains running at once because each brake could also have block brakes. I chose it to be Intamin becuase they are smooth, fun, and amazing to just ride and look at.

Hmmmm.....sorry but not something that seems a good idea to build or fun to ride. The amount of lift hills (cable to boot) and brake sections, from a mechanical and engineering standpoint, would be a huge headache.

Yeah. I just thought it would be something different and new with different types of drops. It could be a ride that the majority of the family would like.

For a long time I've had the idea of "negative lateral g's" as I like to call them. It's basically the idea of having a turn banked the wrong way, so you traverse the curve on the outside of the track rather than the inside. Indiana Beach broke the seal (at least I think...) with Steel Hawg. Now I'd like to see that on a much larger scale.

Any way you slice it, this is still yet another wish list. See #4.
