Did you read any of this thread before posting?

Yes. I read the whole thing. Just because there are some haunted house tales flying around, doesnt mean they are true.

Clearly when you tear down a coaster you first bulldoze a small rectangle of land

That's not what you do on RCT?

^Ah good point. Goodbye Mean Streak

The most likely scenario is that, because the park no longer holds the record for most coasters in one park, they're dismantling the entire park and building condos on the peninsula.

If CP needed condos, they would already be there. Oops, wrong site yet again.

They should totally go for the most living quarters on a peninsula record. They could probablly fit two more hotels in if they knocked down meanstreak and re-routed the train.

Instead of multi-story parking garages, just build high-rise hotels!

Exactly!

It is open year round. And I highly recommend it. Also, there will be an event there this Halloween year called Lake Erie Fear Fest that will feature multiple haunts all at the GM location. Just thought anyone who's a haunt enthusiast would like to know. :)

Could fit a couple huge hotels by tearing down Millennium Force. Why keep it, it's not the longest, fastest, or tallest coaster. Kingda Ka > Millennium Force!!!!!

I've only gone through it once, and it was in February or something like that, but I was unimpressed. 90% of it is just animatronics. A few scenes were fairly well done, but many were not. I believe they hire more actors around the actual haunt season, so perhaps it's better then.

Exactly! If they also got rid of Maverick and Thunder canyon, they could basically have the whole shore line for new hotels! It's genius!

I think this is a great idea!

It will be expensive, but it will be worth it in the long run!
I think that they should upcharge certain coasters to make back the money... Millenium is worth at LEAST $5.00 extra per ride!

People would totally pay that!

Well Millennium is going to be gone because of the renovations, but $5 for Disaster Transport would be fair. I say they keep Disaster Transport because of the beautiful looks. It adds a lot of beauty and would be a much needed visual break from mundane high-rise hotels. And since Mantis is the best steel coaster in the world (the golden ticket voters don't know a good coaster when they ride one) they should enclose it and convert it to a custom Stand-Up Floorless Launched 4th Dimension Wing-Rider train to make it even better. Use the launch from Maverick (since that's going away for a hotel) to make the ride even better! Then Mantis can claim its rightful spot as #1 steel coaster EVARRRRR.

Oh, and what do you guys think about perhaps making some sort of animatronic dinosaur exhibit and charging 5 or 10 bucks for it? That would improve revenue as well.
