Off Kilter

Yeah, we did note that they were standing high up on that hot stage wearing all black...

The feel like temperature was about 103 degrees.

Yikes, if they're going to put bands there, during the day, they need some coverage.

The 8:00 show seemed to work out the best since the sun had gone down and they were able to use some of the light rigs from Luminosity/Skeleton Crew (nothing fancy just white and red lights mostly). They played for about 45 minutes with some of the old favorites. It was cool to hear them do "Whiskey in the Jar" again.

"Thank the Phoenicians!"

I wish they would have used their usual "Metallica" intro to it though.

I was watching them for a while at the park. I must admit, it was pretty fantastic.

Off Kilter has a Kickstarter going to record a new album. They've already reached the goal but there is still time to put in some money.

The video on the Kickstarter page features footage from some of their performances this summer. Cedar Point can be seen starting around 3:02 in the video.

It's great to see things going well for the group.

Like their performances, but some other Irish bands that are outstanding are Bridget's Cross and New Barlycorn. Local to Cleveland but they play in multiple states. Easily as good as Off Kilter.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Yeah, I've seen those bands at the Irish Festival in Berea. I think Off Kilter has even played that festival way back in the day (I seem to recall they had long breaks from Epcot at one point).
