Other things you do while riding a coaster

Since most of the people that post here have most likely been on CP's coasters countless times, do any of you like doing things that keep things from being monotonous?
For example, one time on magnum, I sung a song with my friend all the way up lift one. Sure, everyone hated me when I got off, but it was fun, and different than any other experience I have had on magnum.
Sometimes, when I have the presence of mind, I'll pose for the camera.
Sometimes I try to go the entire ride without screaming on MF and TTD, but it's not as fun for me when I hold it all in. On occasion I will ride some coasters with my eyes closed. I still get freaked out when I do that, even on Gemini. One time, my cousin proposed that we scream the entire ride for MF. It was during the evening. I must have swallowed 5 bugs.
Though coasters are one of the farthest things from boring that I can think of, does anyone else have any stories about things they have done to add a new dimension their coaster riding experience?

i usually take off my shirt and swing it around on magnum, got my whole car to do it to haha

I'm gonna request that you don't try to get others to do that... There are some things that one can't un-see.

I try to see if I can fall asleep before we get to the top of the lifthill. I have only been able to do it on Beast.

Let's Get Weird.

I pick points or a person on the ground and keep looking at it/them as long as I can through the twists, turns, loops, etc. Its easier to do with some coasters than with others. And typically you need to find another point/person as the ride moves along.

When I'm riding with someone I know, I ask them how I should scream while we go down, and plan what pose we'll do when the camera comes.

I've tried focusing on a specific point before, but I end up getting distracted looking at the track or people in front of me instead.

On Gemini, I always ride in the back so I can watch all of the people in front of me throw their hands down and duck on the one hill that looks like the rafter is going to chop your torso off. That never gets old. And I once closed my eyes, but that was over when I accidentally got a mouthful of a ponytail belonging to the girl in front of me. So, after that bad experience, I will never again close my eyes on a roller coaster...

And I pretty much sing all the time, so I'm always singing on roller coasters, especially on lift hills.

I hate when you get those annoying people who will be on the ride and be like, "CHEESE AND CRACKERS" "I LIKE ANIMALS"

stuff like that just pissed me off.

I try to do it with my eyes closed and name what is going to happen next on the ride. I perfected Diamondback Saturday :) even when we were at the top of the hill and the trim brakes

My family always tries to do a pose together when the picture comes. It's always hilarious how we plan it out and it's perfect. On magnum I usually look over into soak city and watch people watch the cars go by

Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!

I've tried holding my breath throughout an entire ride on Raptor starting from the top of the lift hill. Its actually pretty difficult. I can hold my breath for a full minute on the ground, but while subjected to all those forces? Its harder than I thought it'd be!

My friend and I like to play "driver's ed" on DT mostly, and a few other random coasters too.

For DT, we pretend that the trough is like a driver's test course, and I sit in the right side of the front seat, and my friend sits on the left. She acts like she's holding a steering wheel. I play the instructor and she's the student driver. She plays dumb and asks questions, like "which way do I turn?" and stuff like that, lol

good times :)

I like to pretend that being on a roller coaster for it's own sake is fun enough.

When I have ridden Disaster Transport in the past, I remember always screaming "BATS" BATS" BATS" right as soon as the train went around the first turn into the dark and throughout the ride. I still do that when I ride. It's freaking hilarious and it makes everyone on the train laugh. :)

My favorite is to get people to laugh, a few examples. Please feel free to use them, I'd love to hear someone use my tactics, but I don't get to the park as often as I used to...
Disaster Transport - I like to politely tell everyone that I am afraid of the dark as soon as we start moving, then let out a little girl scream.
Magnum - That little dip out of the station I'll scream my head off, then celebrate the ride's over and I won't have to do it again. Then start crying about the lift hill.
Snake River Falls - After the wave settles, excuse myself for drinking too much water.

These always make for some laughs, rather it's people laughing at me, for crying and being 6'4" and 240 (last time I was in the park), or me laughing at people's reactions.

Hahahahaha VooDooCC, I think I have ridden with you on magnum. I'll never forget when someone screamed this high pitched girl scream at that dip. Everyone on the train was laughing.

I've been on gemini countless times, and I -STILL- have to duck at that first drop.

I haven't been there since '08, due to financial and personal reasons, but will be going in October. So, there will be at least one girly scream that day :)

I take a fifth...er...take the Fifth, rather...

The path you tread is narrow, and the drop is sheer and very high.

I see if I can keep my hands up the whole time, or stay in a pose the whole time to wait for the picture! I also sing..
but the most fun thing to do is scream and scream and scream so loud that the little kids in front of you turn around a look at you like you are crazy
