Pirates of Lake Erie: Green Trains Chest

Hmm. Those low steel supports on the pic on the main homepage--they strangely resemble the nozzle at the end of a garden hose. Maybe those aren't supports at all, but rather some sort of hardcore water-canons to shoot at the trains as they go by! ;)

^ I have a feeling you wrong.

New Season of 'The Office'. TONIGHT!!!

I can not wait for this new coaster! I have a feeling though it is going to be a luancher. Wait there telling us in august right?

I wonder if Port Clinton would be the Lake Erie version of Tortuga...

No P-I-B (from everything I've heard) would be.

I hate to bring this topic back on track, but did anyone catch the sandusky register's site today? They have a pic of the support up close. They also mention funcoast. If you go there, they have video and an AERIAL!!!!!

Also, check out the video. You can see them getting ready to form/pour a new footing right at the exit of the WWL station.

The winds are a changin'!! :)

Is the video at the registers website or funcoast?

Hey, give us the website adress.

Here is the page with video and pics

It doesn't show them pouring a footer in front of the station (or maybe I missed it)

And was anyone else waiting for that support to go flying off the forks and across the construction area?

Its funcoast. However, the aerial is old.

John: Yeah, I was!

ADDED:
I think he was referring to the form shown toward the end of the video.

I didn't think we were allowed to post links to other websites, that's why I didn't. Sorry.

Yeah, check the video at the end. You can see the new formwork ready for a footing where they cut out the old "riverbed" of concrete. *** Edited 7/19/2006 4:42:55 PM UTC by halltd***

gee, it looks nothing like the Port Aventura coaster . . . :)

It looks like it could be a kiddie coaster, hopefully not another coaster that we cannot ride! :-P

a kiddie coaster with heavy guage intamin track and 90deg banking.....

Well, it could be something like a miniature version of Millennium Force....

"Mini Millie" you must be at least the age equivalent to the immature posters on this board who can't wait till August for an annoucement to ride

sorry, I have a real beef with a lot of the crap I've been seeing lately

and seriously, I hope he's joking with the kiddie coaster comment

cool

Did anyone see the new pictures on Pointxtreme's website from yesterday. The very last picture has a piece of Red something, and it looks very interesting. It's too big to be single rail track?
