Plastic at the Point

I was just curious as to where you can use credit cards inside the park. Souvenier stalls are the most obvious places. I am correct there, right? What about food? Any food places that accept plastic? What about Challenge Park?

I have no ATM PIN on my cards. I wouldn't trust myself with easy cash like that. It's just easier to carry a credit card and a little cash then to have to carry a lot of cash with me.

I'll be at the park on July 10-11, a Monday and Tuesday. Me and my fiancee are making the journey from Texas. :) Actually, we'll be coming from NE Indiana as the CP trip will only be a side trip from the yearly family vacation. We'll be staying at Breakers Express and will hopefully have decent crowds and good weather.

Thanks for your replies and hope to see you at The Point!

Jason
I know some of the sitdown food places accept plastic. I generally prefer to use just cash, though -- keeps a forced limit on my spending :)

Per Cedar Point's official website, under "tips":

Credit Cards
VISA, MasterCard and Discover/NOVUS are accepted for accommodations, park admission, most gift shops, Macaroni's, the Silver Dollar and out-of-park restaurants. The Bay Harbor also accepts American Express.

Mount up & let's ride!
Midway Market can be added to the list of plastic-accepting places within the park as well. Looks like someone at the official site needs to more carefully review the FAQ instead of just post replies to questions all of the time :-)

Thanks guys. I guess I should read a little more carefully there.

What about on Rip Cord, though? Is it cash only?
I have used plastic to purchase Soak City & Park tickets at the windows. That would lead me to believe that ripcord and challenge park accept plastic as well, since they are purchased at the same place (as far as I know - I have never been on ripcord)
ripcord accepts credit cards.
Sweet. Thanks guys. Cya at the Point!
