I was wondering what drop ride{without bias}you prefer and why.I enjoyed the drop of Power Tower more,but felt like Drop Zone was more intimidating.My wife feels the same.
This is a really tough one. I'd give it to Power Tower, but I'm sure after a few more laps on Drop Zone I'd change my mind.

That is a tough decision. CP lacks a good freefall ride. Demon Drop was always one of my first rides. I would really miss it if they took it down even if it isn't a good ride. Whenever CP takes down a ride it feels like the park is missing something or lacking something. So i would not want Demon Drop to leave.
Well i think that i like the freefall feeling better than the feeling you get on a Turbo Drop like the green side of Power Tower. But i like the shooting up side of Power Tower than a freefall. Again this is a tough decision so i might as well remain neutral.
I personally like Drop Zone's freefall better than Power Towers. But, I'd have to say I actually prefer the space shot over either of them.

I like the Space Shot side of PT, but I like Kennywood's Turbo Drop best.

Drop Zone (Intamin AG) is 315 feet tall. Its drop is 264 feet at a maximum speed of 67 m.p.h. Its capacity is 550 riders per hour. Anyone know what the capacity for P.T. is? Unlike P.T., Drop Zone doesn't bounce you to a stop. It uses magnetic braking to slow you down quickly as you approach the ground. Personally, I like Drop Zone a little bit more than P.T.
I think Drop Zone is a tad bit more exciting than PT, just because it rotates as you go up. Also, the 20 extra feet and 17 or so MPH dont hurt either. If I had a choice I have a fly on Ripcord before either of these rides. :) Power Tower is still a great ride, and I will never stop riding it!
Drop zone is more indimidating, but the space shot on top of the stratosphere in Vegas is even better! Now grant it, its not as high of a shot up as power tower, but being on top of a hotel that far in the air is amazing! Now I know this is a shot up and not like being shoved down like the drop zone, but you get my point! Power Tower was my first ride like that, and will stay dear in my heart though!

After riding Drop Zone one time, my wife and I both though it was a better and more intimidating ride. Even though the height is about equivalent, Drop Zone just seemed higher, I think this is because it is a single spire instead of massive structure like Power Tower. The wait psychs you out more on Drop Zone also what with the covered queue area and massive wind that blows in when the ring gets to the bottom. Power Tower is good, but we liked Drop Zone much more.

I think Drop Zone is better it's taller faster and you are all right, it is more intimidating. Don't get me wrong PT is still a good ride drop zone is just a tad bit better.
