Raptor Train Model! =P

IF your hoping for a millie train you aren't going to get one for a while, CD is only making B&M models for a reason, OTHER COMPANY'S TRACK IS TOO HARD TO REPLICATE. Eventually they will try other manufactuers. Also don't think mantis will be made, it won't CD will not be doing Stand-up or Flying yet. They also don't plan on it either.

^ I was talking about the desktop model/paper weight of MF.

I cant see paying $80 for that. But thats just me.

I should have never read this thread. I just visited the site and bought the MF model as well as the woven afgahn with Wave Swinger and Corkscrew. I had my eye on it a few times this season when I saw it at the Emporium but never dished out the $60 for it. Now winter is coming and I can stay nice and warm while reminiscing about the fun at CP during the summer (because you can't do that with blankets that don't feature CP attractions.) ;)

That Millennium model is quite nice. I got one a while ago when they first came out.

I have to agree that the MF model is really awesome. Danbury Mint released them and the detail is flawless, even I dished out the $80.00 for one :)

I found out Dorney is selling Talon and Hydra models online so naturally just had to buy both! There went $81.00 and the parks are closed! Hopefully all the colors are correct on both (unlike Raptor's large supports) and I wont have to do any painting myself! :)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?

Since the model has been pulled from the site and my order from a few days ago has yet to ship I'm guessing despite it saying it was in stock they still are on backorder.

I should get a job soon. There is no way im going to be able to afford coaster models and school.

Got my Talon and Hydra models from Dorney yesterday. Pretty cool except Hydra has the baby blue support rail thing going on like Raptor did! Obviously using the same rails for both!

Nothing alittle green paint didnt fix! :)

Hey everyone. We will be sending more Raptor models to the park in a few weeks. You will be able to buy them online for Christmas. Our molders did miss the color on the supports, unfortunately. We will get that fixed on the next batch for 2008.
The park sold out of the first shipment in 2 days. This is encouraging for us and has prompted us to have a rapid prototype made of MF that we are showing at the IAAPA show this week. We will post pictures soon. This model will be strictly static and should sell for less as a result (hopefully). If anyone has any missing parts or issues with these models, please contact us directly, as we will be happy to help. Any feedback or input is also welcome. Thanks.

If thats true, then its pretty darn awesome.

Original TTD cars?

Now that would be sweet!

^^ - do the wheels fall off? ;)

It would be pretty cool to have a vertical track (maybe on the twist up) with the train.

That would be pretty cool.

And heck, removable tires/spoiler would be pretty funny.

Anyone receive theirs yet? I was billed a month ago and am still waiting. Sure hope they're here by Christmas!

I was also billed a month ago and I have yet to get mine. I called CP about a week ago and they said they would be shipping yesterday which I don't think happened.

I e-mailed the CP marketplace and they had cancelled my order and credited my account. "Coasterdynamix" responded on this topic 11-14-07 that he was aware of the great demand and that shipments were coming. Anyone receive theirs yet?

I wounder when there going to be back in stock? I saw them in May of last year in the Speed Zone, but I didn't get one for some reason. And they haven't been listed on there web store from last summer.

Quote from a Corkscrew ride op, "And Dragster is down again"

I happened to luck out I guess. I bought one off the CP website marketplace when they had them in stock, 2 weeks later they didn't show up again. Mine is still in the box and I haven't opened it yet.

Oh just a heads up, keep a lookout this year for more statix models of other CP coasters (I wont say which ones). I personally cant wait for one particular one.;)
