Requested Maintenance?

I was at cedar point yesterday (7/23) and they closed the TTD line and let the ride go until the queue was empty and then they shut it down because the mechanics requested to check out the ride. All the police men said it was going to be a LOONG time. But I decided to wait along that oh so greatful black fence. Turns out only 1hr 30min it was down for the maintenance. The first empty train they launched didnt even reach it to the top, it was still vertical. But then with people in it it easily cleared the hill. I got in the front seat, no wait. Then I got off ran back in line and waited and it was about 10 trains that had been launched and they shut it down again, only for like 30min... so many people were pissed it was great. I waited like 45min, including when it was closed. There was barley a line both times I rode it.

I've learned that unless it's your first dragster ride, it's really NOT worth all the trouble.

Go ride the big blue coaster across from Mantis.

Millennium is SO boring. The hole time I was turned around looking back to make it more excititng. One thing thats fun is leaning to the left on the turns.. the g's hold you there its fun. Theres nothing like dragster's launch. The ride is so short that I will NEVER be able to get enough of it. I will always wait for dragster, why wouldn't you? And I'm just saying.. it is probably becoming a normal thing for mechanics to request maintenance.

How about you ride the greatest ride in the world not a hundred feet from Dragster's tower instead? ;)

What? That makes no sense. Besides everyone is entitled to their opinion and I know plenty of people who beleive dragster is 10x better than millennium. I mean ya, millennium is a great ride but its old news. I'd def. want to ride dragster instead.

I would much rather ride TTD any day over MF. The intensity level of the launch and the twist on the way down are so much higher than anything on the MF. OK OK, I do agree MF was kick ass when it first came out but this is a whole new experience and I personally think MF is boring. The drop does nothing for me andthe rest is just smooth sailing. On TTD your in 26 seconds of pure shock. I've rode about 40-45 times and it still tickles my trigger every time. I'm anxious to see what cedar point as coming out next but I think TTD is going to be hard to beat when it comes to intensity. Of course I did say the same thing when MF came out so we'll see. I pray for a 4th demension coaster. I rode the roller coaster known as "X" at six flags in Valencia, California and all I can say is that "TTD watch out". So far i like TTD a little better but if Cedar Point can make a better 4th dimension, TTD will be secondary. Thats my input!

Excatly! They dont call it top THRILL dragster for nothing. Its the biggest thrill there is. I can't believe some think MF is better. Besides, you dont get the same experience everytime on dragster. Some times you go really fast over the top, other times very slowly, or even backwards. MF is the same thing everytime.

There are plenty who prefer MF over TTD. I personally enjoy TTD over MF, but not by much. None of it is worth going back and forth over since its all opinion.

TTD is more fun because there's a chance of a rollback and even if it won't shut down by the time you in the station. Plus the ride keeps your heart pumping very fast from start to finish. The ride is so quick you have to reride it over and over. TTD will always be better than MF in my opinion. So will WT but that's a whole other story.

I love you people i think ttd better i dont think mf is all it talk up to be i mean it fun the more i ride it the more i like it but after that drop it just not a fun still a good ride but not the besst in the park

dub slaw, I find most of Jeffs stuff funny...maybe you should try growing some thicker skin and realize that not everyone out there is going to try and pump up your self esteem....this is what's wrong with the America today, we've gone so far to making kids feel like they are always included and won't be left out and won't be hurt that their skin is thinner than Mary-Kate before rehab

I could careless what Jeff said about the donut time, I don't even get it. But what makes me so mad is that he never has anything good to say. I get so annoyed of reading stuff like no your wrong its this, or I hate this or that. It's so stupid. Anyways JuggaLotus, what you said about growing thicker skin was ridiclous. It was probably one of the stupidest things I have ever read in my entire life. Made me laugh though, so thanks!

By the way.. I did get Jeff's joke and I must admit I did laugh, I know that I forgot the w in whole. But then I realized that he never says anything good.
