Ride Plinko

Does anybody know if they still have SuperPlinko after 8pm like they did last year?

To let everyone know that getting two front of the line passes for the rides is possible I did with online two pucks did it yesterday it is so rare one guy who was watching it said it was legendary and saved one to show my family and took a picture of both of them

Punctuation is hard, why even bother with it, right?

Even with punctuation I doubt I would be able to decipher anything out of that post.

"To let everyone know...getting two front of line passes for the rides* is possible..." Okay. That makes sense.

"...with online two pucks..." Um...so you play ride plinko at home on your computer?

"...one guy...said it was legendary...and took a picture of both of them." A guy was in your house watching you play ride plinko and took a picture of your pucks on the computer screen?

*Besides rides, what else does the park offer front of line passes for?

Haunted houses.

My daughter won a Front of the Line pass playing Plinko on Sunday and we'd planned to use them on TTD but they wouldn't let us (at the time) because the ride had just started operating after having been down and they weren't running fully loaded trains. She's going back in a couple weeks with a friend so we decided to save them for her next trip.

Had we been able to use the passes for TTD they would have loaded us on the train before it pulled into the station and I assume the same procedure applies to Millennium Force. Although I like the idea of getting to bypass standing in line, I think I'd have a hard time knowing that someone who had been waiting at the gate as the "next in line" was going to have to wait yet again. To me it kind of ruins the experience especially if they're the type of people who would make sarcastic comments and stare at you as you sat in "their" seat.

On Maverick and Gatekeeper I think it would be OK since you're basically taking a back-door to the boarding area, much like Fast Lane.

Does anyone have any experience using the FOTL passes on MF and TTD? Did you have any awkward moments?

That's so funny you said that, because I thought the exact same thing when it comes to FoTL passes for TTD and MF! I really thought I was the only one.

A couple years ago I received a front of the line pass and chose to use it on MF. I loaded on the exit platform and the people waiting for my seat had no problem with it.

Fast forward to a couple weeks ago and I was waiting on the ramp for MF and two people with front of the line passes walked up the exit and were instructed to join the line right before the turnstile going into the station. I was wondering why they weren't boarding on the exit platform.

Later that night, I was next for TTD and two times people with front of the line passes were in my seat. My friend was furious that they were taking our seats, but I calmly explained to him that they were there for a reason. I guess they still load people on the exit platform there.

Loving Maverick since 2007!

I recently used a couple passes on Dragster, and was told without asking that I couldn't do the front seat. I can see why, the wait was about an hour for the front seat at the time, and I say ok. He then said if I'd be willing to wait 15 minutes we could. I said that's cool, so my son and I relaxed against the rails. After 5 minutes, he just waves us on to the front seat. After getting off, I asked what the policy truly is, so I can know for next time. He said that you can get on any train immediately, but the front seat is a judgement call of the operator, though I'd call it more of a negotiation between the operator and the guest, but whatever.

No front seat for passes? I'm down with that, but if someone had tried to tell me that I couldn't ride it at all like jsmith above, there would be an issue. The passes state: Please present at any ride exit for immediate boarding.

We got in the regular line and waited about half an hour. By the time we were on the ramp headed up the boarding platform they were running full trains, and I noticed that they were letting people use the Front of the Line passes. In hindsight we probably could have just waited at the exit until they were fully loading the trains but we didn't know much about the process at the time and we weren't the ones who actually talked to the crew member. The only reason I knew to go to the ride exit to use the passes was because I had asked someone at GK how they worked. I had never even been on TTD before so every part of it was a new experience for me.

I still have the pass and my daughter can use it in a couple weeks. She's going on a Saturday and it might be more useful for her then if the park is busy. Even though we didn't use it on our visit, it was fun to watch her win. If I would have played I probably would have received 5 20% merchandise coupons because when it comes to games I have almost no luck! She seems to be good at that kind of stuff though. Haha.

I tend to think that the passes are useful ONLY on Dragster, because it usually has by far the longest wait of any ride, so it's the best bang for the buck.

I say this from a regular fast-lane+ using perspective.

Whenever I used front of line passes on MF, I always loaded at the unloading platform. It's not a front of line pass if you have to join a line. I think the person working was confused.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

I have never been loaded in the unloading station, for some reason they always put me back in line.

A group of us had Plinko FOTL and we also had a couple of FOTL from Tony. The ride ops said the people with the plinko FOTL had to go into the station que while the one's with Tony's passes could go to the unloading platform.

My son has won us several plinko front of line passes that we used on MF, each time they let us in the line between the load and unload sections of the station. Being able to load inside the unload area would be great... Going to have to pay more attention to tweet ups I guess.

I feel more comfortable entering the line between the load and unload platform. It still isn't a long wait, and you don't feel awkward when the train pulls in the station from unload as almost everybody is looking at you with a pissed off face (or at least that's how it feels)

This has been my experience as well. I walked up the exit for MF with a group who had Plinko passes, while I had a pass from Tony. I got seated in the unload area - they joined the line directly before the station.

^^ Don't feel awkward if they look upset, they'll get over it... I have not yet had the opportunity to load in the unload area of any ride but if I were lucky enough to get a pass to do so I would make sure to enjoy it.

When I have used FOTL(non tweet prizes or plinko) passes on MF, I've always loaded at the un-loading area. Same goes for TTD from my experiences. And I've gotten past the 'looks' from other guests, as you reach the loading platform. Yeah, it feels awkward, but what can ya do-just enjoy the ride! I do see some potential policy changes that could be made. Fast Lane Plus guests enter the line at a closer point, so why not fotl pass holders too? And FLP costs more than the average Plinko player spent to win.

Keep passing the fun along!
