If you look really closely at Gemini you will notice that each train (red and blue) has its own lift hill.

Two.

Promoter of fog.

I see only one lift hill with two lift chains.

My bet is Shoot the Rapids.

Not that this world-changing argument isn't fun beyond belief, but I also believe it's Shoot the Rapids. Clearly it has two distinct lift hills and enough "coaster" elements such as steel track and lift chains to qualify.

As an aside, Shawn, kudos to you for sticking with this thing for as long as you have. I've poo'd it in the past, but it was incredibly fun this past Friday.

Maverick is the one I bet. The tunnel launch could easily be considered a lift hill.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Yeah, that makes more sense actually.

That only makes sense if you consider TTD and WT to have "lift hills".

Gemini seems to make the most sense.

What if the 3rd coaster with 2 lift hills doesn't exist yet....

Except that it clearly states that there are (as in, already existing) 3 coasters with two lift hills.

I know, I just really wanted to say that.

Well, if Pipe Scream is a coaster then STR should be as well, I'm still on the fence about Cadillac Cars being a coaster or not. I'm leaning towards yes due to the metal rail but the fact that it stops when you release the pedal makes me doubt it somewhat.

This discussion is really happening.

I'm with Jeff...Like...we're really discussing facts on a sign on a fence...

^ I agree completely. Please go back to talking about the important things. Or simply regale us once again with how things were when you worked there, and how they would never have put up a such a divisive, rage-inducing sign on your watch.

And apparently the only way to lift a train up a hill is by chain or cable, so Maverick, you have no lift hill, case closed!

Scotty, are you angry? Eat a Snickers, you're not you wen you're hungry.

Oh come on, Shoot the Rapids a COASTER? It was announced at a water ride people! Also on the CP website it is listed under water rides.

Y'know, you make a good point. I think I'll sit back and think of that time that guy used a DD-214 for military entry. That always bring a smile to my face. I mean really.

I'm not sure what else we should be discussing, other than Soak City being a mess or whether or not people like souvenir cups which are of course very worthy and interesting topics...

That being said, I still cannot quite figure out how Pipe Scream is a coaster, and if it is a coaster as CP claims then it has to have 2 lift hills. PS is propelled up the track on each end causing it to be lifted rather than "coasting." Wicked Twister is another story as the motive force is not on the hills themselves, but rather in the valley between the hills so I do not think that counts as 2 lifts as it simply coasts up the hills instead of being actively lifted up the hills.

I will drop my claim that Cadillac Cars is a coaster, only for the reason that it does not "coast" as it will stop once the pedal is released. If they were to remove that braking method and allowed Cadillac Cars to coast CP could easily count another coaster. The Antique Cars on the other hand would be a tougher sell as a coaster since the layout is too flat, simply not enough elevation change to make the cut.

Joking aside, do you even have a DD-214. Because if not one of us at least did something worthwhile in our lives other than being an ass on an online forum :)
