Rollercoaster Station Music

On Mantis I think the only song I ever heard in the queue is Sheryl Crow playing over and over. They liked to torture people through auditory means before torturing them physically...lol.

^ The 3 songs that I couldn't avoid when waiting in the Mantis line were: (1) the "Friends" theme song, (2) Alanis Morresette's "Ironic", and (3) "You Can Call Me Al." I love seeing the different ways through the years that CP attempted to keep the patrons busy while waiting in line.

Anyone have a pic of Dollywood's fans? Or at least a description on what makes them different than what CP uses?

Picture standing behind a jet engine while it's raining. :)

Not that this has anything to do with music, but I think they need to install more fans in some of the queues. Especially Dragster. There isn't any shade considering those tents do nothing.

And not only more of them in queues, but I think they should put mister fans all over the park along the midways. SFGA has them in a lot of places and they're really nice to have. If you get hot and don't feel getting soaked on a water ride, all you have to do is walk to the nearest mister fan. Oh, and there were also just plain mister machines where you pressed a button and mist came out. CP needs stuff like this!

Don't forget about "Breakfast at Tiffany's"

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

What about "Breakfast at Tiffany's"?

My author website: mgrantroberts.com.

Also Shania Twain's song "I feel lucky Today"

She doesn't have a song called "I feel lucky Today."

Are you thinking of "Man, I Feel Like a Woman?"

I've noticed that John Cage's 4'33" is a popular music choice in many roller coaster stations.

O.o Someone else who knows of John Cage!
For people who haven't heard of 4'33", its a song that has no notes, the players remain silent. The music is the ambient noise of the concert hall, or in this case the station.

2013: Maverick
2014: Ride Supervisor - Cedar Downs & Cadillac Cars

Speaking of John Cage, I think they should play the Mortal Kombat theme song in coaster stations. Because everyone *loves* that song.

Darude's Sandstorm is a necessity.

Having been to many NHL games, nothing gets the crowd more pumped up than Sandstorm (except the opening chords of Marilyn Manson's 'Beautiful People' played over and over again for 10 minutes)!

*okay, tongue out of cheek now.

I disagree, Mortal Kombat is a very good game, but I think Donkey Kong is the greatest video game ever.

Let's see who gets this reference.
