Silly Things that remind you of CP...

I know this is really stupid, but the other day, I was in the outside garden department at Home Depot. They have these flat carts for customers to put large or heavy things on, like bags of topsoil, plant flats and such. They have 6 large caster wheels. And when you push or pull them when they're empty, these things sound EXACTLY like the Magnum lift hill in operation!

It was soooo weird. There I was, looking for garden stuff, when I heard that familiar noise and got this real intense CP flashback. It's the combination of the wheels, and the metal structure of the cart, and bouncing on the concrete, and everything, but they sound just like Maggie climbing the hill!

When I drive over a small hill at the right speed, and I "lose" my stomach. Most of the time, I'll put my hands up just for fun.

We were in the grocery store yesterday, and we heard "Werewolves of London". It took me about a second and a half to realize I wasn't standing in the Park during Halloweekends! I love when stuff like that happens.

Whenever I am outside and smell a cigarette.

Standing in a queue of hundreds of people at airport security prior to getting on the (plane) ride.

Passing by a bed of petunias reminds me of the smell of the main midway.

The song, Saturday in the Park, by Chicago.

Just say no to trims

While walking around at the college I go to, I looked down at my feet and I happened to be walking on a concrete walkway which looked exactly like the main midway and for a split second I felt like I was at Cedar Point. It was about 2 weeks or so before opening day so it drove me crazy.

When I am having a bad day at work. I will sometimes close my eyes for ten seconds and think of walking down a midway. I generaly(sp?) do this during the off season.

And speaking of shopping carts my Giant Eagle has rigid tile near there prepared foods section and the cart on that tile sounds like DT going up the hill.

Whenever I take my car to the dealership to get an oil change during the off season, I wait to listen to the anti-rollbacks on the lift. Then I sniff in sadness & go sit in the waiting room. ;)

Some people merely follow their dreams. Others hunt them down and mercilessly beat them into submission.

When I ride in my Dad's '94 Corrolla, the brakes on it sound like the brakes on Maggie at the end of ride. This only happens when he is applying them as he is turning a sharp corner.

Back in the fall I was walking out of my apartment and I saw a guy with spiky hair and lots of piercings. I know that's really weird, but I started to smell the french fries :)

The song Bukowski by Modest Mouse (dont ask)

"Thats when friends were nice, to think of them just makes you feel nice"

Funny you should mention Modest Mouse because the first few songs of Good News for People Who Love Bad news remind me of the ride to the park, because I listened to it a couple of times on the way there, haha.

I do the same.

RIP MR.SCOTT The ONLY MAYOR OF LIGHTHOUSE

I was at work yesterday and I dunno what the smell was but it smelt like Cedar Point and man I need to go back.

RIP MR.SCOTT The ONLY MAYOR OF LIGHTHOUSE

I would have to say the entire new Avenged Sevenfold cd (city of evil) reminds me of cedar point. For a majority of the 4 hour car trip to the point last summer thats all we listened to. Its funny how you can clearly recall memories in detail just by hearing a song that was played during that time.

"Milk was a bad choice..."

Whenever I hear kids talk about SF:GA (It's an hour away from where I live.) I think, and sometimes say, how much better Cedar Point is going to be when I go June 21-22.

Going on an escalator, the smell of the grease/oil kinda reminds me of Disaster Transport...

When I'm in class and my teacher says to turn to page: 420, or 120, or 310 and so on. Also when the time is 4:20, or 1:20 so on... and 93 degrees out.

RIDE ON, and ON and ON and ON and ON and ON...
