Soak City Parking...do i need a SC ticket?

Over the last few days, I've been browsing this forum quite a bit in preparation for my next CP trip. I often hear the CP veterans say that they park over in the Soak City lot. I'm assuming that its better spot and bit of a secret to the hardcore patrons. Now, excuse me if this has already been discussed ad naseum, a link would be great, since I couldn't find anything in the search feature. But do I have to have a Soak City admission to get in over there or can I enter from that side with the plain ol' funday ticket?

Thank you. Great site. CP is off the chain...saw. :)

Nope, no Soak City ticket is required.

Cedar Point rocks my socks.

You do not need a ticket

The Soak City lot is also known as the Gemini lot. Anyone can park there, and since there are two separate gates for SC and CP you don't need a ticket for one to enter the other.

When you arrive at the park, stay in the leftmost lane of traffic. Usually there tends to be bigger vehicles in this lane (buses, RVs, etc.) You'll pull up to a larger parking booth than the other lanes. Just tell them you want to park near Soak City and then you will pay like normal before following perimeter road around.

^To add to that... even if you somehow can't get to the leftmost lane, just turn left a good few metres after the tollbooths, then turn right onto the road leading to the SC lot. Tell the attendant still that you're parking at SC and they'll probably direct you anyway.

Thanks guys for all the responses. I asked the lady at the parking tollbooth and she put a blue Soak City flyer underneath my windshield wiper blade. After that, it was easy to find because the lot attendants pointed me in the right directions. My friends in the car got a good chuckle when I asked the tollbooth lady "How do I get to the Splash City Waterpark?" LOLz bro, you said SPLASH CITY!!!

Thanks again.
