That song got annoying years before TTD opened. It's a shame, Republica had much better songs.. Although Saffrons solo and duet stuff has been pretty good.

Amen! She did "Just Say Yes" with The Cure a few years back didn't she?

Yes she did.. I'm a die hard Cure fan.. have a wish era tattoo on my right arm. I thought it was a pretty good song, just upset with the album it was released on.

I also have the animatrix soundtrack and she did vocals for Junky Xl on a track.

That point Xtreme page is awsome. Im only 4 songs short of having all of the TTD midway songs.

Last time I was in line for TTD there was Elvis music. It was interesting. It's funny though, everytime I've been at a real dragway they've played "Ready to Go."

the need to bring back the original spiels on TTD, MF, and WT. Its just not the same only hearing the music, and somone mumbling in the backround. On all the other rides it looked like the ops were having fun though, but it just didn't seem to work on those three rides.

^ nope.

Last time I was there, the ride op on TTD was doing a great job. He was really friendly, enthusiastic and did a good job of getting the crowd into it, saying things like "red train, are you ready, green train, are you ready", and kind of making a contest out of which train made the most noise. I thought it was better than the autospiels, but maybe it's not that way all the time, I don't know.

The noise competition between the trains is something an auto spiel could never do. I love what the ops do (since Ive seen multiple ops do the noise competition) because I always get my train to be the loudest.;)

I'm glad that they still have the song by republica in the station still, because hearing that plus hearing the ride operators ask, "are you ready", just pumps me up even more. I'm glad they did away with the autospiel for Dragster. Although I think they should have kept it for a couple rides like Iron Dragon, Corkscrew, and Cedar Creek Mine Ride, because they always ask how the ride was and no one cheers.

Whenever I hear them say that on ID, CCMR, or Corkscrew, they never give time for riders to say anything (not that they'd get anything). They always say "Welcome back riders how was that ride please exit to your right, down the stairs and enjoy the rest of you day here at Cedar Point, Americas Roller Coast".:)

I think that is really funny how they do that. They should really put a little space in between, but I do agree that they wouldnt be getting much of a reply.

By the time you get back into Corkscrew's station, you forgot you actually rode the thing. They stack two trains and continue to run it with three.
