You do know you can find them on his website (look at his signature), and you can also find a bunch of similar pics right here at PointBuzz, right?

It was "scarlet and black and ochre and peach and ruby and olive and violet and fawn and...."

Oh wait,..never mind. The show tunes are overtaking my head.

Oh God, just imagine that: Roller coasters becoming like baseball parks, sponsor wise. US Cellular XL-200. PacBell Streak. And of course....Enron Force: Where Corruption Meets 310 Feet.

Ironically, that's exactly what Six Flag's new CEO wants to start doing with their rides. I think there was an article about him linked from Coasterbuzz where he talked about that.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

My personal favorite for stupidity is Playstation: The Ride as a Power Tower type ride. So Lame.

Amusement parks are a business. In business, you try to minimize cost while maximizing revenue. Some parks have been able to defray the cost of building a new ride by getting a sponsor who's name gets attached for a fee. More power to them.

Ok guys, I just got home from the point and I can best describe the color of the supports as straw. I have pics, taken with camera phone, not the greatest quality. Does anybody know how I can E-mail them to Walt? Where can I get his E-mail address?

Thanks, sorry man I was real tired last night, long day at the Point, and a long drive home. And then I find out I was scooped by Jeff Young on my support pics :( .

Well now we know the color scheme of the ride, all we have to wait for is seeing supports go on the footers. I saw 8/2 on one of the supports which makes me think, hmm this will be the day they announce this coaster.

Do we really know the color scheme of the ride?

Are all the supports and track in the staging area?

8/2 is where that support is to go on the correct footer. Not when they tell the media and coaster nuts whats in stored for 2007.

That's good since the one next to it sayes 8/3, that could have posed a problem. ;)

Shawn, it's a simple mistake but those numbers are for identification so they know where to place it or what support it might connect to. Ex: Support 1A is a section and connects to 2A to form an "A" support.
Every support has one at it's base. And even the track are numbered. Without them, how else would they put them all together? Guess? I doubt it.:)

I have to say this....I know that it has been beaten down, and I am not saying that this is an extension of TTD, that being said, the color sceme this far is exactly like that of TTD. I know you are all saying that the supports of TTD are Yellow, but not so, the ground level supports, aka launch and brake supports are the same color as the ones that are sitting in the staging area. It seems like this is going to be exactly the same colors as TTD. I was just there MOnday and Tuesday, and while waiting I noticed the difference in the support color from the verticle. Just struck me as very odd that they are the same color.

Yes the tower supports are a different color from the launch and brake supports.

But the colors of the 2007 supports do not match up to Dragster's. They're close, but still not an exact match.

^ They still look pretty similar, the bottom on the new supports doesn't look as flared out as TTD.
