Teen breaks into Geauga Lake and gets pictures ON the big dipper

I don't think the group that wanted the park gone had anything to do with that. If anything it's the opposing group that chose the location because of the park.

The same community wanted nothing to do with the park years ago. Amazing how tides turned.

But the community is not a group of people marching in lockstep. No tides turned; rather we're hearing from different parts of the community at different times.

I'm a Marxist, of the Groucho sort.

If you want a laugh, visit the GL fanpage on Facebook, which is essentially now the old GLT forums. They are demanding for Meijer to restore Big Dipper and operate it, and calling anyone who says it isn't going to happen someone who never cared about the park.

I think I got kicked from that a very long time ago for them quoting similar crazy ideas. The evil Kinzel ones have been my absolute favorite.

My comments on that page tend to recieve mixed reviews. I've accepted that the park is gone for good and the only hope of salvaging anything would be saving Dipper which is unlikely to happen and that apparently makes me a negative person or so I've been told on facebook.

^ Yeah I feel the same way Paisley. However, I feel like an established park should duplicate the layout. The wood that is holding Big Dipper up is rotting away so it would just be better to rebuild it. A small park like Michigan Adventure, Indiana beach, and even Holiday World would be ideal for Big Dipper.

Really people.
