The Mysterious, possible footers

well as i saw...the Wicked twister cars came in on a flat bed truck....millenium force cars came in on a flatbed truck....they carry everything on flatbed trucks....the cars as he said they were "wrapped in some sort of plastic"....millenium force cars came in the same way
I was just simply stating what I was told along with my opinion on the rumor, with the person's credibility, and imagining possibilities for fun. Yes, it does sound outrageous, but outrageous things happen. I personally don't believe that Cedar Point will get a 425 ft....anything, let alone an Intamin. But ya never know. "Fire Streak" seems too ,ummmm, non-creative, so I don't know what exactly to think of that. To my knowledge, though, Cedar Point, is building something, we just don't know what.

J4 Ru1e...the truckloads were after they announced it! I was talking back in early 1999 when it wasn't announced yet. There is a picture of in the history I think...it might not be there anymore after the beta version.

Snoopy Rocks! On Ice starts June 22--Do you think they'll let me drive the Zamboni machine?

I want to drive the Zamboni!

How many years will the "Fire Streak" rumor keep popping up? Before WT was announced, there were people "who saw" piles of wood and red trains for the new CCI woodie that was to be built on the beachfront. What was it to be named? Why, "Fire Streak", of course... if it's not the 3 B&M rumor, it's the 3 Streak rumor.

Anyone who's "seen trains on the causeway" is full of it. Around here, it's not what you know (or more appropriatly, what you THINK you know), it's what you can prove.

I don't remember seeing any rumor of wood and red trains last year...

I remember all the "_____ Streak" rumors. Whether it was the new woodie for the boardwalk project or the 300ft. looper by B&M that went underground and onto the lake. My favorite one now is Gemini being removed. Ha!

Whoa...I'm not saying I believe this talk of a 400+ coaster, but the thought of it is kool!!!

Wait did he say FIRE STREAK? Would it be wood like the other streaks? A 425ft woodie? Scarey!

Once you drop, the fun don't stop!

I only wish we would use our heads you know the people at CP are laughing there @$$'s off. Lets go back to the 1st or second replys. This is fun though I need a couple good laughs at school.

...what you think looks like track, looks more like the supports for a tower of a TA2K.

On second glance, you may very well be right. Its hard to tell due to the quality of the picture/video. Certainly the structure on the ground, at the top of the photo does resemble the support tower, but the ones at the bottom of the photo look, to me at least, to be not as deep... In other words, more like this type of track, as compared to just the basic flat track.

As far as this whole trucker thing goes... Untill I see some pictures (you can tell I'm into visuals ;) ), It's about as believable as the sign the was supposedly up by DT last year that said "Blast into 2002 with major air!". :)

Why do people question my info? I am just trying to let people know what I saw. Truckers may not be the most reliable sources of knowledge, but this one admitted what he had on his truck. I do have a picture of the truck, but I don't know how to post it. If anyone can tell me how, I will post it.
possibly you could give us a email address and people who would like to see it can email you.
Do you have it scanned? If you have it on your computer, send it to me.

Thanks Seth, good info. I didn't think we were building the Hoover dam. This thread is on its way to breaking the record...

A truck driver would most certainly know what he is hauling. They carry a "bill of lading" which is inspectable upon request by any law enforcement or BMV personnel. A driver should also know what he is hauling since they check their rigs to make sure the load is secure.

I don't doubt Mr. Bean, but I am suspect. I would love to see these pictures.

I highly doubt. I don't believe a word of it until I see a picture of a truck, with said cargo, that is clearly on CP grounds.
