Thunder Canyon

A lot of people say that they like Snake River Falls better than Thunder Canyon, but I have to disagree. Snake River Falls is fun, but it's pretty short and Thunder Canyon is very adventurous and pretty long! What do you all think? Do you guys like Snake River Falls or Thunder Canyon better?

Snake river falls because it has a hill a it gets you more wet.

Thunder Canyon because it provides the thrill of not knowing who gets wet and it is longer and is more adventerous, as you said CPboy.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

I perfer Snake River Falls if I'm forced to ride a "get drenched" kind of water ride at the point because the water isn't toxic and fishy.

Touche Michael, one must always keep their mouth shut while passing through the waterfalls on TC.

I was thinking, would it be possible to use chlorinated water for TC? I mean what about the other ones like Grand Rapids that arent located right next to a major water source?

I definately like Thunder Canyon better. As yall have said, it is much more fun not knowing what lies ahead and all depends on which way the boat spins. Plus its awesome riding with a bunch of friends (AND its even more awesome when they all get wet, and you don't).

I really dislike Thunder Canyon therefore Snake River Falls is better.

I think White Water Canyon at PKI is much longer than Thunder Canyon.

7 TTD rides.....1 Roll Back
3rd train of the Season on MF! 2007

As long as its hot out, I like them both.
But I usually go on TC first, then SRF so I don't smell like Lake Erie.

They are both cool and refreshing rides but I prefer Thunder Canyon because of the mroe adventurous aspect. Also, the anxious feeling of whether you are going to get wet or not.

Praying for a rollback...

Thunder Canyon is much better!

i don't ride either anymore, but i like thunder canyon better. its a longer, more interesting ride and has a LOT more theming to it. i have a big issue with rides like SRF that just go up and down and have sub-par themeing on them. i guess that's why TTD isn't at the top of my coaster list either. sure its a GREAT ride, but there are several others that are more fun to me.

If I want to get wet, I'll stand out in the rain.

Or ride the 2007 attraction.

MrScott I am disappointed. I expected you to say - "If I want to get wet, I will wait for next year and ride Maverick".

I am not sure if yall are joking or not, but I talked to Mr. Kenzel last week and although he wouldn't tell me much, he did say it had nothing to do with 500 feet or with water. He's a pretty truthful guy, is he not?

Your great at correcting people, lol. I appreciate it.

SRF gives you airtime while getting you(and other standbyers) wet. Thunder Canyon is a 2 minute snooze ride. Yes you do get wet and it's anxious(I can't find the word) to see if you're going to go under a waterfall.

My votes goes to SRF.
