6/2/14 I rode TTD for the first(!) time, just past dusk, and loved it !! We'll be headed back to the park 7/11, and would love another ride. Taking in consideration the weather and ride operating properly-is there good time of day where wait times may be shorter than others? Due to TTD popularity, I'd assume @ 10am, this is where many guests head to first. I see/ hear many complain about a long wait time, but it seems to be a quick people mover-with efficient ride opps. If this has already been posted or addressed here, please direct me to the post-thanks!

I don't know about TTD specifically, but generally most lines are shorter after 7:30pm

We rode it around 10:20ish AM on Sunday July 5th and only waited about 15 minutes. We had early entry and had already rode Pipe Scream, Maverick, SkyHawk and Millennium by that time, so it is possible to get a lot of things done in a very short time frame in that early hour and then shortly after 10 when the rest of the guests start getting back there. Just make sure that TTD is actually running with guests on it first if you are going to try for it first thing in the morning.

While on the subject, I was wondering what they did with the dragster car at the exit in the winner's circle? does anyone know why they removed it?

I have been curious about that myself. Just looks like an empty void there now.

I want to say it was missing opening day last year but they brought it back afterward. They probably pulled it for off-season storage but I don't know why they didn't bring it back this year. :(

I never noticed a car in a 'Winner's Circle' type setting, I'll look for it now. I guess we'll just head that way after early entry is done! We enjoy starting our day with what we call the 'AM better than coffee, put wind in your sails, wake-up call'- 2 rides on MF, then one on Maverick ! Thanks for the in-put everybody !

Keep passing the fun along!

Cool ! Thx !

7/11/14 visit, no car in winners circle area.

I saw it there today. Anybody know why it was gone?

Yes. The park knows.

That response was not very helpful, nor informative.

(S)he did give a correct answer, the park obviously knows, but I was seeing if anybody here knew. If I ask the park, it's unlikely they would tell me or give a standard "maintenance" answer.

This is a self-describing statement.

Also, what other reason do you expect other than it was pulled during off-season maintenance and wasn't a priority to be returned? It's theming. The rides have much higher priority.

It was taken to containment because it caught the Ebola virus. Happy? ;)

I imagine it was taken away for something that's not that spectacular if you were to know.

Or perhaps aliens took it.......

How is alien abduction not spectacular?!? I wonder if it got an exhaust pipe probe and is now under alien control with a retractable 20' satellite dish coming out of it?!? I love to sing-AH! About the moon-AH! In June-AH! In the spring-AH! I love to sing-AH! About the sky so blue and tea for two! Oh sonuvabitch... *end South Park rant*
