Update - June 14

So it's either, ASSUMED, to be a short train with a sharp turn, or a long train with an inversion.. ;)

Looks more like the pieces that are there now are for a lot of tight twists and turns, with a few pieces that could be for a loop. For Gods sake don't flame me, just my opinion based on what I saw, it gives you a whole different perspective seeing them in person.

First trip June 23rd

I would think that they would assemble the more complicated parts first... which would explain why we only see all twisted track

what do you think?

Not ALL of it's twisted. Some are probably for turns.

IMO, they'll probably start wherever is less complicated like the lift(assuming it has a lift), station, low areas, etc, then move on to more complicated elements like drops, banked turns, inversions, etc.

It's really hard to tell without knowing for sure what the layout is (not the footer layout that we see now).

i think fom the track shown that it will go upside down... i cant say for sure though.... it just might be the sharpest turn ever!!!

Is it me... or does the new attraction resemble Storm Runner? a storm a brewin & put 2 & 2 togther. Storm Runner has a Dual loading platform. Whats everybody thoughts.

I think it'll be more like PowderKeg.

Airlaunch? Hmm, that would definatly be new for Intamin.

I dont see cedar point copying or making this new ride resemble another parks ride.

everything they build is always different, no matter what it is

Want to know why the argument that they repainted ID because it was similar to 2007 holds no merit?

Because TTD is the same color as Iron Dragon.

yeah... ummm. Thinking helps before you post, not after.

ID is kind of an orange and TTD is yellow (the supports anyways).

What does the number on the bottom of this support mean?

I was thinking this was the date when they will put this group of supports up.

No, it's just for organization reasons. It's basically so they know what support goes where.

Stupid question, but where did the "Maverick" name come from. Did CP verify this or is it just speculation?

Hows come Scott Baty it says you joined 6/21/2006 when that is 2morow?

Well, I went about it a different way. I looked at all of the trademarks registered by Cedar Point and Maverick was trademarked this year as a ride. That kinda adds to the speculation.
