Wait time sign

Has the wait time sign been right? I was there 2 weeks ago it was not right any of my five times.

Also, when the ops let you pick your seat is the wait still 45 min. from the pop machines?

I'll be at the Point on thursday and am curious.

Well I was there Sunday the 11th and the line never extended past the pop machines-dead day-and yes it was about a half hour to 45 minutes it was about 55 minutes or so at night because they took the red train off.
I noticed that the signs are rarely right. They are basicly about 15-25 minutes off in the whole park for the bigger rides.

I myself have only been there Opening Day, so maybe they have changed, but on Opening Day it was outrageous how wrong the wait sign was. At about 4 o clock we went to MF and the sign said 4 hours - but I looked at it and knew that that was impossible. We ended up waiting for about 2 hours and 15 minutes!

i think they purposely OVER ESTIMATE the wait times to hopefully keep the lines down and get folks to ride other things...

ride early, ride often!!!
Re Servo:
I noticed that also. On big rides, it's usually at least 1/4 to 1/2 hour over.

Would you rather they over estimate or under estimate?

Cp guy it all depends - good question - if I saw a wait that was over estimated and I had to leave the park soon or something so I decided I didnt have enough time, then I would be mad that I could have really gotten on. On the other hand, I would also not like it too much if I had to wait for much longer than it says. "Always expect the worse, so then you have a better chance of being happy because you didn't have to wait as long as you thought".

i usually figure they over estimate because they want people to be happy that the wait time was really shorter than they thought. Could you imagine the riot that would be caused if the wait time was less than the actual wait time?
Sometimes it's because people spin the sign around and put it on the longest wait time it has on there.

i dont care what the little circle says..... i will wait no matter what.

my first force ride i waited 20minutes (got there before they opened the que). the second and third times, the circle said 2 hours, but i know it wasnt two hours. i didnt have a watch, but we waited 7songs the second time and then 9songs at dusk before we were home free. i know that cant be 2hours.

I do know about people spinning the thing. Once it said 31/2 for Corkscrew, when it was a walkon.
I have noticed this today for my first ride on MF. We saw some kids changin the time. It was two hours, so they changed it to an hour and ran away laughing. We then just went on it. We didn't see this happenin but someone else did we knew. And we waited for 2 hours but again MF is well worth the wait! Especially for my first ride. Later on again, some kids came by and changed it again from and hour to 2 and 3/4's. Talk about low lifes!
They aren't right usually on MF. I saw the sign and it was 1 3/4. Then I looked at the line, and it was only about a 1 1/4.

For MF, the queue after the vending machines, is 30 minutes, and 45 minutes at the queue before them.
