Warning for any trip planners!

What happens when the greatest amusement park on the planet earth builds the greatest roller coaster on earth?
People come out of the woodwork to ride! Unfortunitely for us CP freaks it seems to be causing unreal crowds. On a typical Sunday night when school still in I could manage 10+ Raptor rides no sweat-not anymore
On a typical weekday when school still in-20+ Raptor flights no prob (RaptorDave told me he got 53 Raptor flights in during this same week last year-this year he only has 35 rides so far)
So for any of you who remember the "bestest" days to go in years past the same may not hold true for this year.
So the saying "build it and they will come"
definitely true!
GREAT for CP
not so great for us diehards who had records in mind!

2000 Raptor rides: 6
Lifetime: 263
Goal: 400

2000 MF rides: 39
Lifetime: 39
Goal: 40
(not going to shoot too high with that goal
and very pleased with total laps so far anyway!)

Yes, the attendance has been insane this year, and it's supposed to be the slow part. Us shareholders are hearing the cash registers ring, and I'm looking forward to nice dividends this quarter!

Millennium Force is a home run, and if there was any question before about who would nail the highest attendance in our state, I think we know who will come out on top.

Jeff, I agree..My trips to CP are usually 2 or 3 times a year...But, because of MF, Im going atleast 5 or 6 times...Yes, that coaster made an impact on me!!!
I am very pleased and disappointed about this, pleased as CP has amazed us all, but disappointed in the lines. Man all i want to do is go there on a day with short lines. That is one big thing I enjoyed last year was the short lines on weekdays. I think that is over this year. Thank goodness I have a pass.

All I can say is that the super-crowded trends had better not continue into Halloweekend Friday nights...

(On that note - any idea if MF will stay open on Friday nights during Halloweekends? I don't see why it wouldn't, I was just wondering because you never know...)
Yes, things are indeed a bit different this year. Monday was Victoria Day, and I think half of Ontario was at the PO!NT. In the afternoon the Magnum queue spilled over into the area to the right side of the regular entrance, Raptor was a 1.5 wait, and Mean Streak was a hour. On a weekday in May, for God's sake! EVERYONE knows the park is supposed to be dead now. Is nothing sacred?!? :)

If they keep the same midways open that they have in the past, I'm going to guess that MF will run on HalloWeekend Friday nights. That may be the only time to take advandage of short lines this season, but even then it probably won't be like it has been the last couple years. Oh, well.
