What are you doing during the off-season?

wake up, work, wonder where pay goes. wash, rinse, repeat.

(and wait for spring!)

remember: no matter where you go... there you are.

I don't think he means drinking while physically traveling/driving. I think he means drinking while you're out and about traveling. You know, like drinking at the cabin after a hard day of doing nothing at CP. :)

edit:

That, or he's taken a liking to playing basketball and drinking at the same time, which would lead to a lack of coordination, so less dribbling that usual (of the basketball), hence drinking and traveling?

I got my PS4 today, so that will be taking up a good amount of time during the off-season.

Let me know how it is...I'm still on the fence a bit for this generation of the console wars

I'm lovin it so far. I played COD: Ghosts and downloading Battlefield 4 right now and a free Plus game, and I got Flower for free since I bought it on PS3 a long time ago. Got Watchdogs preordered. I've spent alot of time downloading today, but from what I played so far, it's great.

Attended Kennywood's Holiday Lights. Awesome display, could not be more impressed.

BF4 > COD:G...I played the storyline w/ a friend and a bit online...eh..

The extinction thing was ok, but I'll miss zombies. COD to me now is too much of an arcade shooter. I like the somewhat realism that BF brings, plus the graphics are totally on par especially with the ability to practically level everything.

BF4 is amazing on PS4. 64 players in a server. CoD is pretty much luck based. You can be the top player one round and dead last the next. I like BF4 for the vehicles and maps. I'm going through the story mode now and I like it so far.

I'm trying to level up my vehicles now. I got my boats and tanks ranked up pretty high. I just hope they can fix the bugs soon. I haven't had many problems with the multiplayer in PS4 yet, but it glitched alot on PS3, I think they pushed the hardware to it's limits. But on story mode on PS4, I had a few crashes and my save got corrupted once and I had to grab my last save off the cloud and I lost about 30 minutes of play.

Off-season? I went to Epcot yesterday. Tomorrow I'll have lunch outside while I watch Kraken cycle across the street.

GRRR....last few days have been:
Shovel drive to go to work, home from work, then clear drive....
Then the morning is Shovel drive to go to work, home from work, then clear drive

See the pattern? Old Man Winter is already bugging me!
Oh and the fact it was -14 with the wind chill overnight.

I thought it would ask again and see what everyone is up to this year. For me it's pretty much the same as last year. I got a bit of a work load now, so I'm working on client projects. I'm also playing a few PS4 games right now.

Skiing, every chance I get when I'm not tied up with responsibilities.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

I live in the land of no off seasons. I can ride coasters any day of the year:)

College finals at the moment, then enjoying a month break from school. Then back to school in January, and waiting to hopefully get an interview with the park

Work work work work. I WAS planning on finally moving out into my own house but that's been pushed back now that my dad was denied social disability. It's been a bit rough these past 3 months waiting for the judges decision and it has been a rough time for my parents ever since my dad had his stroke back in 2012 and brain surgery in 2013 (along with losing my grandma one month before the surgery). He has healed fine but has permanent nerve damage that prevents him from working. Since him and my mother both have significant disabilities and can't work, I've been required to stay home and help with some financial things (dad's pension is crap and only pays the bills) as well as some physical labor stuff my dad can't do anymore. They were really banking on getting the social disability, which would have allowed me to finally move out. But things have the tendency to just not work out so now they have to appeal and hope the next judge is a bit more understanding of the situation. Till then, I have to push back my ambitions of home ownership.

But that's just how things are and I'm fine with helping them out. So it's now about trying to stay positive and look forward to starting the next coaster season.
