What do you miss the most???

With my earlier post about a new website that has posted some old photos & postcards of Cedar Point, got me thinking...

Digging as far back into your memories of Cedar Point, what one ride/attraction that has been removed do you miss the most and why?

Mine is definitly the Funhouse. Of all the dark rides that has graced the Cedar Point landscape, this was one of the most unusual ones, with the upside-down facade in the front. If CP were to ever build another dark ride, I would love to see that portion of the Funhouse resurrected!!

The Pirate Ride. When I was young and made my first couple of trips to the point with my parents, this was my favorite ride besides the roller coasters. I think when I went in '95 that I actually neglected it and didn't ride. I can't really remember. If I didn't, I need to kick myself in the butt. I'm really not a big dark ride fan, but there was just something about the Pirate Ride that was magical. I don't know. I just loved it, and for them to turn it into an arcade is just sacreligious. Throw the stupid video games in the lake and rebuild the Pirate Ride!!!
I have to say the pirate ride also. My parents started taking me to CP when I was just a little kid and my favorite ride was always the Pirate Ride. As kid I was always fascinated by the ship outside of the ride. I loved it when it made the cannon ball sound and then the water would splash up. Even after I graduated to the big rides I would make it a point each year to ride the pirate ride at least once.
Mine is Mill Race. I fell in love with this ride when i was about 6 and have missed it ever since it was taken down for Raptor nothing against Raptor it is an awesome ride but I always love MILL RACE
I miss the double Ferris wheel, which I believe was called the Sky Wheel.
I miss the old western cruise- especially when the boat would paddle along the midway, near the old jungle larry safari, and the captains would make fun of the people walking by. I also miss making fun of the same boat captains when they couldn't make the final sharp turn. For you youngins'- that turn is now the Iron Dragon's final element.

I miss the San Fransisco Earthquake. It was in before the Bears took over in '86 or '87? That scared me to death when i was little and i never got a chance to go back and see it from a more mature perspective :)

The western skyride was also pretty cool. And the Bayren Curve (that was at CP wasn't it?; i might be getting confused with another northern Ohio park) was fun in the early 80's.
I miss Kid Aurthor's Court. I mean, it wasn't much, but if I were a kid, I would hate to see that thing go...Maybe they'll reserect it in Camp Snoopy as something else.

I also miss the Berenstain Bears. I don't see why they had to turn bear country into peanuts playground. I don't see why the Berenstain Bears and the Peanuts couldn't find a way to co-exist.
The cheaper gate prices!! LOL

The more you ride it, the more you want it!

I'd have to go with The Mill Ride at first cause i remember jsut going there looking for it not knowing that they got rid of it, and i thought i was just having problems finding it, but it was gone, and more recently i miss the Pirate Ride, it's like, the same thing, i didn't realize they were getting rid of it, i used to love going on that ride with my parents.

Without a doubt, the thing I miss most is the original T.M.Harton carousel building that the Midway Carousel used to be in. I love Raptor intensely, but you can't duplicate the original charm and accoustics of that building! (Oy, could I go on about THAT for awhile.) Wasn't that cupola grand? It was the essence of Cedar Point-on-Lake Erie.
I miss the Mill Race and sky slide(?) the most. They were my favorites as a kid.

Frontier Lift never should have left. Also the Pirate ride. Jungle Larry wasn't bad either.
I miss looking into the eyes of the Haunted Horse on the Frontier Carosel--actually the whole thing!! While having the shelter there is very pleasant and convienient, it reminds me a bit of teeth I have had pulled, leaving a gaping hole behind...It was a good way to help pass time if older ones wanted to ride or wait in long lines for pizza.
I miss:

The San Francisco Earthquake
Jungle Larry's Safari Island
Western Cruise - The Original Ride(tm)
The 2nd floor of Fort Sandusky on the Trail
Ashtrays in Fascination (I used to smoke, OK?)
Real Dragline Cranes (Hate the Big Choice)
Beer Trucks scattered like jewels in the park
The 65 foot motor ferry boats to Sandusky

Do keep in mind that if the Frontier Lift was still there we wouldn't have Iron Dragon, Mantis or Millennium Force.
