What is the bike rack looking thing...

There are pics on other sites (let me know if I'm allowed and I'll toss a link to it) that show the staging area and a piece of track that has what looks like a bike rack attached to it. There are support mounts at rail level and then another mount at the top (or bottom, on ride, I guess) of the bike rack looking part. Anyone seen anything like it or know what it is? The first picture I saw of it looked small enough to look like aqueue gate or something but now I see it's attached to a 2 rail piece of track and not a standalone piece, not too mention it looks big.

Any guesses?

There are at least two pieces like that in the staging area. I am gonna guess track for in the station.

Did this really need its own thread?

Brandon

Every piece of track and support needs it's own thread.

Yeah, but there wasn't a nut to go with that bolt. Is this some kind of conspiracy?

That bolt needs a thread.. so does that nut.

No, I meant that the "LOL" must be in all caps and in the thread title.

My bad on the dual post... Sorry!

Yeah, I think it deserves it's own post (not necessarily 2, but see above for my apology) I've seen a crapload of coasters and coaster pics, but I've never seen something like that. I was simply wondering if anyone had an explanation for what it could be. I guess I should have expected smart alecy responses instead.

Also, I don't notice any newbie comment I made other than the dual post.

Don't take it personally, aighead. We're just a little restless and irritable on account of the countless quantity of nonsense going on around here.

Brandon

I haven't posted yet in the 2007 topic, so let me start. It's a seperate piece of track for the X like rail that is going to drive the rotating trains, geez, don't you people pay attention! It also may be the track that the moving video camera rolls on, so you have a video of yourself throughout the entire ride, only 4 easy payments of 39.99. Or maybe it's the portable Lemon Chill dispensing machine that rides along the rid with you, like the robot voice used to on DT. You people really need to get out more! *** Edited 7/21/2006 3:15:08 PM UTC by oUluvDT2***

Understandable... I don't take much on here personally due to the amount of sarcasm thrown around, and I understand the quantity of nonsense issue as well, I thought I had a legitimate question though. (read: not nonsense in my eyes)

I forgot to ask about the 800 foot long support beam I saw via the midway cam shipped from the Canadian side of Lake Erie... ;)
