Whats with all the trims on MS??

there were more trims on MS Tuesday than i have ever witnessed. it seemed like they were slowing us down on every hill, definitely on every turn. it was just screeching in pain as it struggled to make it through the course...so if CP is reading this, how about taking some of those off and letting it do what it was meant to do? GO FAST!!!

can't believe they cancelled the Simpsons after all these years...now look sad and say D'OH!!
The trims on Mean Squeak are on the first drop, and on the mid-course block brake. Anything else you felt that felt like a brake was just the train proving it can't handle curves.

sure felt like trims to me...

It's not, RideMan is right. The only trims are on the first drop and the block brakes.

I think they need to get rid of all the trims personally and get some better trains that don't laterly-slide so much.

THey need to use a thing called "grease" -or- just retrack the whole thing -or- get new trains. MS will be great again if one of thsoe things happen

They retracked the majority of it in the off-season. *** This post was edited by CP_genius on 6/8/2000. ***
The track is greased by every train and retracked often.

Like Disaster Transport it is all in the trains.

Check again... the track is NOT greased. A conservative amount of graphite appears to be applied once a year, but I've never ever seen even a drop of grease.

well, it should be greased or something...of course, after a ride on MF, everything else pales in comparison...

To put new trains and retrack the entire ride would change Mean Streak for the worse! Mean Streak just wouldn't be Mean Streak!!!!!
Oh my! Your right the track isn't greased, but aren't the wheels? Didn't Mean Squeak have those fancy self greasing trains.

I agree with bubba! I personally think Mean Streak (or Squeak), is fine the way it is. It would not be the same (almost 'classic' coaster) if they did anything to it. Learn to live with its rough-ness, or don't ride at all! Geezzee! ;)

Cedar Point will never again be the same.

Wha'dal be next?
see, i don't mind the roughness on MS..i only mind when it's SLLLOOOOWWWWWW...take the trims off and let 'er RIP!!!
