Where are the beach life guards?

We visited Cedar Point on June 2nd and were out on the beach. We noticed no life guards and no swimming boundaries put up. We saw people swimming out fairly far in the water and were surprised that it was being allowed. Cedar point has always been a stickler with safety and in the years past there have always been life guards, so what's up??

Also, the beach still had quite a bit of dead fish and debris on it.

This was noticed by others as well last month. It appears they have changed their policies regarding the beach.

Thank you! That answered my question, I appreciate it.

Do they still have those stupid ropes in the water?

No

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

its great now that you can enjoy the entire beach for swimming and you can go beyond just knee deep.
