... but until then, how about 2017!

3. Stricter ride procedures where every ride pretty much forces you to get a locker. Also, glasses are no longer allowed unless they have the athletic strap. I did not expect this change so I did not bring my strap with me (I never have had a problem with my glasses falling off any ride). Sort of an inconvenience because I could not see anything, lol!

Are you saying that many rides that had bins (Maverick, Raptor come to mind) no longer have bins and require a locker?

Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!

Nothing's changed in the rules themselves, but the rules are starting to be enforced much more than in the past, such as the previously referenced athletic strap rule for certain rides (namely Valravn, GateKeeper, Maverick, maXair, Power Tower, Skyhawk, Top Thrill Dragster and Wicked Twister). All of the rides with bins still have bins (including Raptor and Maverick), and all of the rides requiring lockers still require lockers.

I was just at the park today, and I noticed that this season's new DJ-remixed park soundtrack (where every single song was remixed to high BPM levels, like the soundtrack played at marathons) has been scrapped. Instead, they're playing a mix of upbeat hit songs from the 90's, the 00's, and today; it's background music, so I didn't pay much attention, but I noticed "Emotions" by Mariah Carey, "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga, and even club hits like "Better Off Alone" by Alice Deejay or "Sandstorm" by Darude. It's an incredible improvement over both the now-scrapped remix soundtrack and last year's modern-hits-only soundtrack, so props to whoever made this decision. After all, IMO anything's better than hearing a remixed hi-NRG version of "Take Me to Church" by Hozier!

Judging by the rehearsals over the last week or so it appears that Luminosity is the exact same show as last season. Still, it's quite the production and a real spectacle.

I just saw Luminosity and to me it appears to be a new show, not last year's, but maybe some of the elements are similar. In any case, they have some really strong vocalists this year and I thought the show was outstanding.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

The new scooter guy on All Wheels is incredible. He was doing some pretty amazing tricks.

CP Top 5: 1) Steel Vengeance 2) Maverick 3) Magnum 4) Raptor 5) Millennium

Looking forward to finally getting down to CP in a few weeks and seeing some of the shows (along with the rides). Sounds like Live E is continuing to benefit from additional support.
