2009 Attendance

Some of you regulars can correct me if I'm wrong, but attendance looks like it has been really struggling lately. I've looked at the park cams over the last several weeks and there has been numerous times in which you could have rolled a bowling ball down the Main Midway and not hit anybody. I know looking at these cams is not the most scientific or foolproof way of analyxing attendance, but unless it's coincidental the park really has been slow the last several weeks.

I think Attendance Is Way Down I think Solely Due To the Bad Economy were having right now,People are not going to spend money thay don't have,Especially for Over priced Food And Gifts I do believe That Is the sole reason Why Attendance is Really down!!! I mean i Got on the Raptor In Like 15 Min In the middle of the week in June Where as before i had to wait 45 Min to An Hour!!!!

I know that this has been a rough year for many including myself! I have really struggled to get to the park as much as I would like due to the fact I have to account for every penny right now! Yes the price of gas is down, but there are so many people out of work or in my case my husband and I got our hours chopped! I hope the fall will bring more good weather so more can enjoy the park before the winter! They have had some great deals to help people out!

cedar point attendance was down all the way through halloweekends.cedarpoint does not pay there employees time and a half,you work 200 hours every 2 weeks,you get paid on 7.25per hour for all 200 hours.and with all of the americans out of work,cedarpoint pays there airfare and passports and visa at no cost.to all internationals,they do not tell you on there employment site,before you come down about no time and a half.in orientation,nor does there website,only thing they explain to you is sign here,sign here,sign here,oh and sign here,you can not form a union.why do you think they hire 40%internationals,so this wont happen,they didi not pay an employee bonus,and the complimentary cups of water were the size of a little plastic shot glass.cedarpoint employees have to pay the same price as customers for food.the housing needs to be inspected by the board of health.and walmart in sandusky.sells cedarpoint tickets for less than cedarpoint.and the corporate crooks get bonuses,way to look out for your employees cedarfair.I worked there for 6 months,I know.
