I noticed the new strut assemblies on WindSeeker. I hope it makes a difference during higher wind days.

They were running the ride half full today. I don't think they did they would do that last year.

So curious if anyone stayed through the light show on the Frontier Trail (not going to call it Starlight anymore, since it's not)? What did you think?

We went past it on the train last night, but didn't walk through it. The lights looked pretty much the same as previous years. However, the tunnel underneath the Millennium overpass had blinking LED's so it was basically in strobe light mode. That was pretty interesting. I don't remember those doing that last year...

The programming was changed. The lights are the same but they are not going to a soundtrack anymore, it's just the park music.

The strobes was a left over effect from Screamworks. It won't be in the final program.

^IMO, that is kinda a bummer without the Hans Zimmer music. The soundtrack from Spirit fit in very well with the lights.

The lighing on Power Tower, MF and Giant Wheel is excellent. The new lighting on the Main Midway was not on Saturday which was disapointing.

I like the new Power Tower entrance next to Himilaya, much less empty queue to walk through. Less chance to line jump.

Many queues were reconfigured to accomodate Fast Lane. The Fast Lane for Troika confuses people I was over there for a while and lots of folks were mixed up. Many Fast Lane queues have employees at the front.

We went through Dinosaurs Alive. It was nice, I'm not a that interested in dinos. that was my one trip, just to see it, They have some benches and one small food stand. I saw more teens than families with small kids which surprised me. The paddle heel queue building is now the Dinostore.

They have Dinos displayed throughout the park.

The lockers by Magnum are gone.

New music, I liked the old music, but it was time to update.

Some rest rooms have had stalls converted to handicap, thus removing the adjoining stall and reducing much needed capacity. I saw soap dispensers that were missing from last year still missing. There always seemed to be someone in the restrooms cleaning which is a good sign.

Overall things looked good and will get better when all of the constuction is dinished.

Less bathroom capacity.... Uh Oh Fast Lane for bathrooms here we come. ;)

At my age that's a good idea.

Anyone remember that lots of public places, including CP, used to have a pay box on each stall and it cost a dime to use the stall? Maybe not Fast Stall, but certainly a pay as you go up-charge attraction.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

I remember.

There was a saying,

"Here I sit broken Hearted, spent a dime and only f**ted."

Oh, the bad old days.

Does anybody know what these giant circular things are for? http://pointbuzz.com/Photos/Photo.aspx?id=7902

They are hollow on the inside with a steel lid on it.

Let's Get Weird.

They are likely platforms for Luminosity performers.
