Any Rides You Have Not or Will Not Ride?

^ha that was pretty clear, and I totally agree. For some reason, the thunderhawk at GL used to kill my manhood lol

First rollback=opening weekend '09

Thats why when I ride Mantis, which is only once or twice a year, I will elect to slightly bend my knees before my seat locks. That way, my manhood is safe at the expense of my knees and especially my feet. That ride would be so much better if it was a sit down coaster.

^That is not true clearfortakeoff, if I was to follow instructions to the letter, the bike seat would be firmly up against my jewels when locked. Since those things are not firmly attached to anything, during positive Gs they tend to sink lower, and get unpleasantly bumped and bruised.

Haven't done most of the spinning flat rides. Will start doing them as soon as I can convince my kids to accompany me. Will not ride Mantis unless my daughter drags me on it.

This makes about as much sense as not riding a coaster because it is blue, because it was manufactured in Switzerland, because it is greater than 47.62 ft. but less than 77.39 ft., and because the talking pig in your head told you not to.

BTW I've been on every ride in the park that I'm allowed to go on, and there's not a single one that I refuse to try again.

Dan, but does the lift hill have to be at the beginning of the ride? What if it's in the middle (Thunderbolt), at the end (Adventure Express), or is a hybrid lift/launch (Incredible Hulk, Maverick, etc.) What if the coaster has two lift hills? Do you ride those twice as often?

You must go pretty freaking nuts for Matterhorn.

;)

I know I have not rode Wicked Twister. I agree that I perfer a lift hill for a coaster! I have rode most of the rides at CP. I do like the Mantis, but I agree it is hard on the kneees. I always ride it when my knees are in a good mood! I wish that they would put the cars like the Dominator had on the Mantis so more people could enjoy the layout of the track! It would be neat to have both sitting and standing cars on that ride! That would be something new! Just a thought!

Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs

For me:

1. Thunder Canyon and Snake River: I don't want to walk around all day in soaked underwear. I miss WWL because you did not get soaked.

2. Chaos and Witches Wheel: just get too dizzy.

3. Mean Streak: Too rough, slow and not scary (other than first hill)

4. Wicked Twister: Only rode once and it really messed me up. I enjoyed Superman at Geauga Lake, so this one perplexes me.

5. Disaster Transport: waste of time. Plus, no one really knows what the line is like as you can't see it.

Other than that, I'm game for anything else and have been on everything.

^ wear a bathing suit on water rides, then change..:)

^Or better yet bring that bathing suit over to Soak City and ride some far better and cleaner rides. I don't need a 3rd arm, so I personally don't feel the need to have Lake Erie scum dumped all over me.

Why is everyone so tough on Lake Erie? It's not the cleanest lake, but really isn't that dirty.

Do you know what people do in lake erie? You don't want to know!! I know things that the lemon chill guy told me.

I will never ride witches wheel or monster again. EVER. I don't overly enjoy the spin-and-pukes but I can tolerate most of them because my oldest likes them. But there is something about these two rides that mess me up. As for roller coasters, I will ride anything, anywhere, at least once ( and usually more) I try to stay away from Mantis because I am short and it bangs my head a lot. Raptor does to but not as bad.

The water for soak city comes from the lake too dude, plus far less people, pee, poop, and have sex in the water around snake river falls and thunder canyon. Not to mention only 2 of the slides in soak city are even sorta fun.

^The water at Soak City is treated Lake water, the SRF and TC water is only crudely filtered. And Soak City has a wave pool and river.

I love thrill rides, but Skyscraper freaks me out just a little bit.

It may be treated, but its still filled with urine, semen, sunscreen, people sweat, body hair, bandaids, and whatever else comes out/off of people.

In the wave pool and lazy river you just end up scraping something on the stupid cheese grater bottoms.

The water is city water, which I am sure at some point came from the lake but its the same stuff you shower in at Commons Randall. Not to mention the water is more than "treated". The amount of treatment it goes through will kill just about everything you mentioned above. So unless you are literally grinding up against someone while they pee, you will be fine.
