Are licensed characters crucial to the bottom line of Cedar Point?

This calls for a Mr. Skyward jpeg..... Anyone?

i hope that they dont get rid of snoopy. The first time that i went to cp i was 8 and it was when the berenstein (sorry about the spelling ) bears were there. i just automatically associate snoopy with cp anymore. Besides, i think my fiance would get upset if he coule not hear "ride on snoopy" everytime he called up there :-D

When is the last time you saw a Peanuts re-run?

I like the Peanuts alot, but what kids see is what kids want. With Nick being one of the most popular kids networks and the Peanuts never being shown, it makes sense from a marketing standpoint to go with the Nick theme.

There are still a lot of kids who know the Peanuts characters in a world dominated by the crappy cartoons of today. It was actually kind of refreshing to hear kids badgering their parents to see something related to Snoopy, and to know that the only times you find Snoopy in media anymore are Halloween, Christmas, and in the comics in newspapers. Snoopy is timeless, whereas Nick toons come and go.

You know what I think would be awesome? If the characters of Cedar Point were the old characters they had by the entrance to lines. It could be like...a party every day.

But, it would only be awesome if Schwabinchen was still there.
